That's crazy, I'm in college as a psychology major and about two months ago started dating another classmate who asked me out. What's crazy about it is he did almost everything this video talked about and that really caught my attention. For example: nonverbal flirting; he would engage in footies while we were working on a project for class. Sense of humor: if you know this guy, you know he makes everyone around him laugh. Intellectual stimulation: while no conversation comes to mind we often talk about anything that comes to mind and can talk for hours. Uniqueness and authenticity. Based on how unique he is, I don't think he's ever shown or presented someone that's not totally him. Socializing with friends. Additionally, he is a nice and fairly social man, which drew myself as well as 5 other people to engage in conversation before and after class nearly every meeting. All 7 of us got along really well throughout the semester, and we had lots of fun. Finally, making the first move. After flirting in class a few times he asked me out and we went out to breakfast a few days later. So without even knowing it, I was subjected to these strategies and it worked on me 😅

I don’t think people find me very attractive as a partner. I think it’s because I unintentionally do things that make the other person feel uncomfortable. This is because I struggle to understand social norms. I would love a video on social norms and what people view as “normal” vs what they see as “creepy” or “off”. I think balance there is best to go for. Its good to learn the boundaries so you can easier know what to avoid - but if you need to change everything about yourself to be her person then that is kot worth it. There are loads of people who communicate differently than "neurotypical" people so you might "click" with similar person better. You shouldn't need to exhaust yourself around a lover. It wouldn't be fair to you nor her.

I can answer this for you. Delete the app. Just watch youtube or enjoy time with your family sometimes or just figure out something else to do. Like gaming or learning a new language on duolingo or something. Once you become an adult, the addiction wears off. Your friends get older and you kinda see everything. It’s because you’re a kid and you don’t have anything to do all day so social media is rewarding in a way.

Another time is i was writing my first novel ( now done and getting published) and he said that I have dedication and it's amazing i am doing something like that. Another time is we were working on studying for a class and we started to argue ( play fight) on who could say what.... then he said "someone told me that you make edits, can I see one?" I replied and he came over my shoulder, and watched then said "wow, that's amazing! How long does it take you per edit?" I said "4 hours roughly" andddd thennnnnn Another time was in class he needed a pencil so we just shared the same pencil all class. Andddd then another time we were talking during class and then he stayed after to talk to me. And then he always joins my convos with my friends... we make eye contact alot.... one time I was walking out and we made eye contact for what feels like forever but we were walking opposite ways and we were looking at each other for like 5 steps.... I am the only girl he will put his phone away for and we usually make small talk alot... he remembers the smallest things abt me and there is alot more..... guys help what does this mean????? I had a crush who I confessed around december 2024, and did not reject me but wanted to be just friends first cause she said that she was not yet ready to understand love or undeveloped in this kind of feeling plus I didnt know her and she didnt know me that much? She wanted to keep things slow and I actually felt like in the same answer as what she said, I didnt even know but after that I was keeping things to fast between us when I was messaging her. But She didnt hate it actually she still likes me & I still liked her. So basically, I'm screwed. I can't even find a crush to begin with. And when I do, it's fleeting, usually because of polar opposites in interests, or they like someone else. Unfortunately, I live in an area (Florida) where nobody shares the same interest (forestry and LONG distance backpacking) as me, except for MAYBE some of the other kids in my Boy Scout troop. Some notes that will probably get lost but whatever. 1. Sustained eye contact can often seem creepy if you don't know them well and just weird if you do. If they are reciprocating it or you're maintaining eye contact while in conversation it's not so weird, but something to be wary of. 2. Physical contact is only ok if you already know them to some extent. Also, brushing their hand is probably one of the weirder examples. To me, it's less creepy if, for example, you touch their shoulder either while laughing or to get their attention. Also, then the lingering contact is less weird. 3. Having a sense of humor is very attractive, but you shouldn't try too hard to be funny. It. Will. Show. And likely you'll end up embarrassing yourself or hurting someone's feelings. If a joke comes to you, say it, but don't try to find jokes in everything. 4. When "being yourself" around your crush, remember that this means being the best *version* of yourself. Instead of being your totally unfiltered self, try to be the best you that you can be, not to make them think that you're someone else, but that you have that capacity to be whatever.
