Qué linda pareja de jovencitos están muy cerca de mi país El Salvador aber sí agarran un bus y te digo en 4 horas etan acá y así disfrutarían de las maravillas de mi país y lo bueno que acá usan sólo dólar y es un poco más barata la comida y las estadías de los hoteles

also for people who live there permanently and are still getting charged for entering you can just swim around to get to the cerro tzankujil! And the language they speak in San Marcos is called kakchikel not tzutijl. Tzutujil is from the neighboring town called San Pedro!

And please for tourists going there DO NOT overpay for the tuc tucs or boats since it messes it up for people who live there! The walk that they went up to get coffee shoukd never been more than 10! Don’t pay 10 per person and don’t ask what the price is! Just hand over 10 and say thank you! Sometimes they will ask for 15 and that is OK but the lower the better!!! A really god tuc tuc company is called Sajvin and they are trustworthy so they won’t normally overcharge!
