0:47 - tip 1 - pursue your dreams. we owe it to ourselves. it's never too late. stop rejecting others before they reject you. 1:05 - tip 2 - don't hold your tongue. speak up. 2:23 - tip 3 - stop thinking that investing and money are boring. take charge of your investing and money. it's essential for your survival. 3:13 - tip 4 - negotiate. don't be afraid of negotiating. don't compromise on what you believe you deserve. 4:10 - tip 5 - stop over-supporting your adult children. 5:45 - tip 6 - don't let anxiety run your life. anxiety can be a symptom of growth. it's not necessarily a bad thing. listen to your inner voice rather than the advice of others. 7:37 - tip 7 - extra finance tips from Daphna ❤

We are kindred spirits, Daphna. There's a small generational gap in our states of mind that can't be helped. We arrived in this moment of time along very different paths. Suffice to say, I latched onto you, my friend Daphna, and your blog five or six months ago, and without a doubt it has been a breath of fresh air to find someone else living life while sharing freely the spontaneous random fleeting thoughts flying by inside and outside of her mind The best part has been your writer's self-analytical side that periodically stops and takes the time to make sense of where she is and whether where she's going is down the right path. As the great philosopher Yogi Berra once said, when you come to a fork in the road, take it. Today I know enough to also consider that turning around could be a wiser choice, though admittedly a far less adventurous one.

I agree on your suggestions. On investments. I create multiple incomes so there’s never a shortage. This I do on different assets. Also if you have important information related to finances or anything you want your family or partner to know. Put this in a document with passwords, different accounts and keep this with your lawyer. You can even go so far as to plan for when you not here anymore, so on your funeral, family will know your last requests. Like music and people you want there. Yes you don’t want to cause stress when you are not there. So do the right thing in stressful times. Thanks for your channel. Very positive vibes.

You can do it, and when you will realize it, you'll be so happy, free and proud of yourself! That moment will stand out as a stepping point into a totally new world, new you, new way of life ❤. Trust the timing and trust yourself. When that moment comes, nothing can stop you. How do I know? My dear fellow soul in this beautiful planet, I have lived through it as well, 20 yrs ago. There is no rush. When the inner calling gets loud enough, you will open up your beautiful wings and simply fly off. ❤

I’m 53 and solo travel all over the world. Believe me once you do it you will LOVE it! It is SO empowering and you get to do what you want, when you want. You can eat whenever you want, whatever you want. Sleep when you want, wake when you want. Meet who you want or not talk to anyone at all if you don’t want. It is so refreshing and wonderful. As I write this I’m in Fukuoka Japan and I don’t speak a word of Japanese. I’ve been here for 2 months now and have traveled all over the country solo from Tokyo to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kamakura, and now Fukuoka. I just spent a couple months in Costa Rica before this and drove solo from one end of the country in Guanacaste all the way to the Osa Penninusila. Again, I don’t speak a word of Spanish. But with google translate you can do anything! You never know what you’ll learn about yourself or the amazing connections you will make. I highly recommend it! Now, Just go Do It! Happy traveling. 🫶

@@Daphna. I agree. It's a little challenging to be comfortable with having enough money when so many people don't. I do donate some $ to non-profits that help to better peoples' lives, but of course I want to keep my $ for paying my simple bills and having simple pleasures (which don't cost much)--maybe some extravagance once in a while.
