You should add "unless you were a teenager in the 1990s" because we picked those apart like this way back then.

The vinyl to the Sliver single was the first vinyl I ever bought! I didn’t even have a record player. I just found it in a used record store for around 40French Francs while on a school trip to Paris as a young teen and had to have it. It was an original from the early 90’s and I just had to have it! I also remember as a kid seeing a copy of the original Love Buzz single at a used record store in Notting Hill, London. It was behind glass but I got such a thrill from feeling like I was only an inch from it. Wish I could have bought it back then. I think it was £350.

I remember the video playing on Rage (Australian music TV program) back in 1993, and one night I told my dad that Kurt looks like him in the video - something he quickly denied until 3:42 popped up on the screen. He quietly responded with ''oh no, I can see myself now... that's my hangover look''.

I always loved this video. There's some silly lore about the can of sausage with the little boy, as it turned up in some photos as well. But I just think Kurt liked it's old timey look. My dollar store still sells identicle cans like that I loved Incesticide too, people don't seem to like it much because of all the covers, but I remember buying the cassette and listening to it on my walkman as soon as I could get the cellophane off lol Plus of all the Nirvana shirts I had, Incesticide is the only one I have left from the good ol days. I'll have to shell over some big bucks to get my collection back as it's become popular for people to wear shirts of a band they don't even listen to....But that's just a personal gripe. Another great video my friend, Thank you for the work that goes into these. They are truly quality content.

Don't forget that Cobain entitled his song "Sliver" in hopes that people would misread it "Silver." A reference to a band called Pixies.

He featured his own based biological daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Which made the video more amazing. How awesome was Kurt Cobain as a father. 😇🤗😇🤗

I can’t deal with the sweater anecdote rn it’s too much
@zerocool1ist4 жыл бұрын
One Easter egg over looked was yes he mentioned the sweater and mentioned it was made out of mohair but missed the irony and significance that those kind of sweaters are usually knit and worn by elderly women like say someone's grandma and also usually given as gifts to grandchildren which is why i assume it was a inside classic grandma joke by him because the sweater was obviously to large for him and when you try it on at Christmas your parents say something crazy like you will grow in to it.
