Ruin Guards were belonged to Khanreah. If you decipher the message of the dead Ruin Guards in Dragonspine with Caesar cipher, you will get "forthe nation wecant forgo this skyborne power butwe failed".

There's an Alchemist called Gold who is from Kheanri'ah. It's stated that they created Shadow Beings and started a war within Kheanri'ah, supposedly they probably created Durin. Then the Gods and Celestia interfered, and this lead to the Cataclysm.

spoilers for the chasm world quest: now that we know the skyfrost nail isnt unique to dragonspine, i wonder if the theory that celestia was located above dragonspine still stands. it seems more like a form of punishment rather than a physical anchor for the floating island. it would be nice to see you revisit dragonspine's lore after everything we've learned about it since 1.2

To me this wasn't a coincidence if Celestia was above Dragonspine before, they probably wanted to keep a closer eye on them, and now with that video I feel like something similar is gonna happen on the actual location of Celestia. With every updates, it seems to be bigger and bigger, probably because it's falling or something like that.

Sal Vind could only be during or after the Archon War, not "much older" considering Celestia already existed at the time and presumably the war happens because gods were fighting over the seat of the 7 for unconfirmable reasons, so for as far back as Celestia first appearance, that is how early the war happen, so to say that Sal Vind happen long before the war was false. Celestia obviously not native to Teyvat, neither do their "gods" and they came and forced gods of teyvat to fight a deathmatch for the 7 seats, this drawn from the fact that gods of Teyvat more or less fine with living together before the war, there might be conflicts but nothing as major as the Archon War.

I wonder if Imunlaukr is from the same world as the Travelers, either that or Teyvat ends up being the place Oulanders go to when their own worlds are destroyed. Maybe that's why the Unknown God attacked them, nothing good happens when an Outlander comes to Teyvat. XD Anyway its not really clear how time works out when someone is Traveling between worlds, is it kind of like the theory of relativity? Perhaps Imunlaukr ended up in Teyvat pretty much right away while the twins were still traveling and by the time they came to Teyvat a thousand years had passed. Meh, its probably to much of a coincidence for this to be true.

Me too. When I first played genshin and went to dragonspine, I am always at sheer cold and always goes back at the camp since I haven't open waypoints there but when I got the goulash, everything seems okay to venture once again to that place xD I bet if Szeshnaya nation will release, we will be needing a lot of goulash because like Tartaglia's voiceline said; "Where I from, were freezing to death... literally" xD

Honestly, I think that's the idea. In Dragonspine lore it is said that the mountain that used to be lush and warm had its entire civilization killed and buried by ice. That's why the name of the phases on Vindr Peak is called "death-pronouncing snow". Several desperate attempts were made to dispel the ice, all of which failed. So, I think every mechanic in Dragonspine is intended to reflect the despair, without any hope, of being in that place. Perhaps the idea is exactly to make the player uncomfortable and anxious for fear of freezing to death.

slight spoilers for end of inazuma archon quest and zhongli second story quest ok looking back now all three "special trees" in mondstadt, liyue and inazuma (excluding venessa's tree bc i dont consider it "special"), those being the frostbearing tree, azhdaha's tree/tail and the sacred sakura tree all have a connection to a past almost-god/god kind of figure. we have durin for the frostbearing tree who was an incredibly powerful dragon in mondstadt, azhdaha who was literally a close ally to the geo archon himself, and lastly the sacred sakura tree which i dont know who exactly that has a connection to but many people think that makoto fused together with it when she died as her form of eternity. what i'm trying to get to is all three trees have this pattern in the wood that makes it look like the trunks are swirling with something else or even being corrupted. both azhdaha and the sacred sakura tree has blue for the trunk pattern whereas the frostbearing tree has red instead. maybe it's because durin corrupted it with his blood and power. mannnn these are just those thoughts u have at 3 am huh...
