Nevermind the haters, I'm here to hear your opinion. 1- shopping/research stage of this upgrade 2- considering it -- if not i'll do exhaust instead 3 - probably plastidip the stock wheels when i plasti the car 4 - shopping/research stage of this upgrade. I don't want a "hot boi" spoiler. 5 - this mod is inbound, just ordered it. 6 - first mod i did. first mod i really needed $12 for 2 whole sets from china (map, dome, rear cargo, license, running lights) 7 - done Thank you for the boost I needed to think about these mods.

I'm wondering whether anyone has considered doing cosmetic upgrades to the Mazda 3 SP25 BL Series 1 or the Mazda 3 SP20 SkyActiv BL Series 2 to make it look more upmarket? those short ram cold intake mods have been proven to lower horse power at the wheels on dyno testing... Just saying... the airbox in this car is specially engineered to provide optimal performance. (I own one so I know...). The only thing changing the intake will do besides make the car slower is add some cabin noise. If you want performance and sound try a cat back setup.

When normal ppl are looking to buy a used car and see one on the lot or on your driveway with the mods mentioned above, they usually walk away. Why? cause they know the car was most likely driven by a younger dude, Chances are he also raced it. Take it from me, I sold many many cars on the lot and privately. Pleople like nice, clean vehicles with no major mods. Aftermarket wheels look good without lowering the car, another nice thing is shaded windows without bubbles.

Because there basically isn't much you can do to them. If you want something to mod buy a civic or 85 ish mustang. Like someone else said, you can turbo it, or put a larger engine and turbo in it and make it lighter. You might also be able to lower the gearing if someone offers the gears. Its still never going to be fast by normal standards though. Some cars are just like that, you can throw 10's of thousands of dollars at them and they are still never really fast. You can make them handle really well though and more fun to drive.

if you think that shitty cheap ass bubbly rear window tint looks 500 times better than a stock window then I guess that is your thing lol. Personally if I bought that car I would rip that crap off the day I bought it. Factory window tint looks ok, but the aftermarket stuff doesn't do much for me. And pretty much every mod you mentioned is just the basic stuff every kid is going to do on any car. I mean if you want a CAI and/or different muffler because you want it to sound different then sure go for it. Probably won't do anything for the performance though. Almost every car made these days has a cold air intake to begin with. They pull air from the lower front of the grill already. They just spent more time tuning it so it isn't loud when you drive it. Most of your gains from an after market one are because they use a less restrictive filter element. You could fix this with a K&N drop in filter for much less money than a good CAI. And a wing and front lip on a Mazda 3? Ya, lets add more weight and drag to a car that is already slow lol. Good coil overs and better tires, for sure. Any car could use these and its probably the best mod you can do if you want it to handle better. The rest of it just save your money and put it towards oil changes and belts since most people overlook that.
