This really annoys me actually. I remember a Disturbed concert where David Draiman (the singer) stopped the show, called out a woman who was sitting on the balcony (already a spot for people who don't want to mosh and want to enjoy the show from a distance) for texting. Turns out she was texting her young daughter who was at home while mommy went to a concert. She was extremely embarrassed and left the concert right after that. I have never felt so bad for anyone. Those singers who get butthurt over someone texting during their concerts need to calm the fuck down. Remember that they are on that damn stage with money filled pockets BECAUSE of the fans. They CANNOT forbid them to text or record them or whatsoever. They paid money to come see you. Be grateful that they are there for you. Don't fucking embarrass them in front of thousands of people because you just got your ego crushed. They can't defend themselves. It's such a low move.

You answer to it and then put the phone away, but most of people were filming the whole show, which is illegal (copyright, sometimes the artist performs new song). Second, the singers has to pay a lot of money too to book the stage, prepare it. They have to practice dance, coreographys, a lot of singing and so on, they put a lot of afford in it, even if it doesn't seems. So, filming it all, while you are there (and then posting it illegally, because a lot of people do it) it's disrespectful to the artist and all the people who work hard to prepare the stage.
