A warning about the Candy Cane Door, do NOT try this in real life. Once, I bought one of those massive jawbreakers and licked it for about an hour or two until I gotten halfway through it... and stopped once I noticed my tongue had started bleeding profusely from excessive licking.

I did that when I got a massive jawbreaker as Disney World when I was like 8. I still managed to finish the thing, but it took ages and yeah, I made my tongue bleed. Fun time.

IIRC the thing with Ghosts 'n Goblins is that in order to win for real you need to reach the final boss while equipped with the shield weapon that fires crosses. Beating the boss with anything else just nets you another round of NG+.

And some of the updated versions, you also needed golden armor, which sucked cause it only drops in a few areas of the game.

As I recall Super Ghouls and Ghosts does something similar. After beating the last boss, you get sent back to the start with some kind of amulet. It has a shorter range than even the basic spears and I don’t think you can get it back if you pick up any of the other weapon drops, so you have to carefully avoid even touching them as you repeat all 8 zones 😢

A Spyro Reignited Trilogy style remake for the original Sly Cooper Trilogy would be amazing. I remember I beat sly 2 in the middle of the night and when the "go outside" popped up I was like "my mom would beat my ass if I do that so no thanks." Lol

I didn't take courses, I learned what I learned of it from the (horrible) tutorials and a lot of googling... although I was probably using Alta Vista at the time. I did manage to make some animations, but it's been so long I probably wouldn't be able to pick it back up again. And now, it doesn't matter anymore.

That's just a very subtle roasting of Nero being so damn similar to Dante in DMC4. Oxtra, as true professionals, are critizing DMC4 for basically making Nero a DMC3 Dante's knock-off, not giving him his proper motivations aside from boring girlfriend Kyrie, and not properly showing his growth as a character. That's definetely what it is :D

When I found out FE3H had fishing I was like hell yeah, let's go! Fishing even elevated Hades for me to an 11/10, since it was already a 10/10 without it. Sly cooper reminded me of something I saw in THPS2. When you complete THPS2 the end text says "...and now go outside and skate" which is what i did and started skating which was the best decision I ever made in these times. Funny thing is, the Magic Mirror from Shrek 2 for the Gamecube and/or Playstation 2 does the exact same thing as Sly Cooper 2, only there's VOICE ACTING added to it! He literally says, "Now put down the controller and go outside and play. We're done. Really. It's over. That is all, uh, folks!" As if that wasn't bad enough, he's actually LYING! There are a few bonus levels you can attempt to beat with certain characters even after you beat the story mode.

That last game reminds me of Altered Beast that also restarted the game on a harder difficulty after completing it. It however did about 5 times in a row if memory serves me right, and after that just didn't even bother to increase difficulty at all and just restart infinitely. It was fun to beat the credits to a pulp though after every playthrough.

At least the shopkeeper in ocarina of Time doesn't kill you with a laser pistol for stealing from his shop like the one in the first Zelda game made for the original Gameboy does. You can time his head movement so he isn't looking at you when you get to the door but if you enter his shop again afterwards it will play a scene where you get shoved back out and he comes out of his door, tells you that he warned you not to do it and insta kills you
