I’m actually interlocking now, and the thing about not knowing whether the base of the loc is laying front/back or the side is so apt! It caused me a lot of holes tbh but I’ve learnt to follow the “y” thing interlocking makes.

Very helpful! I appreciate the tips about interlocking as often as your hair needs. I'm trying to wait the 6 week cuz that's what everyone says to do, but my roots are marrying like crazy.

Thank you for this! I interlocked my hair almost a month ago. I’m still having trouble figuring out the base🤦🏽♀️ Your locs look amazing and the video was great.💕

Oh my dear girl, just invest in a metal interlock needle. They come in a vast array of sizes & you don’t have to struggle to get hair into needle, hence cutting down time. They are SO inexpensive & there are loads on amazon & eBay. 😬😊🇬🇧

Hmm interesting! Are the needles called interlocking needles or yarn needles? Do you have a link I should check out? 😃 Thanks for sharing!

@@aVAness Not sure how to attach link but trying looking up interlocking or dreadlock needles on eBay or amazon they should come up, I use a curved one as it helps to prevent joining locs by mistake. I’m in the UK your prices will be different. Good luck, if you find one maybe you could do a video comparing tools ☺️🇬🇧

Do we have to maintain the sides of rotation every time or can we go the opposite way at the next interlock
@aVAness2 жыл бұрын
Personally I don’t try to remember what direction I went last at the last interlock session for each loc so I don’t think it matters. It’s more important not to go the same direction twice within the same interlocking session. Hope this helps!
