@NaturallyMotivatedLady4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 😊 The same concept can be applied to the 4 point rotation if that is the rotation you prefer. The key is just having a system to not go through the same hole back to back when retightening. Thanks so much for watching! I hope this helps. Btw...you can probably do a search to find methods of repairing holes that may already be in your locs.

Ms Naturally Motivated Lady your locs are beautiful. I love your detailed tutorial about using the two strand method. I've just begun my journey however my loctician insists on using methods that I am uncomfortable with. So I am now on my own. Have you ever had to combine your locks? What method did you use. What is your best advice to practice for healthy locs. Thank you.
@NaturallyMotivatedLady4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 😊 No, I have never had to combine any of my locs. I have the same number I started with. One of the best tips is to be consistent with your maintenance. Learn what works for your hair and stick to your routine.

thanks for all of your awesome tips and videos! I have been doing the 4 point rotation for about 1 1/2 yrs and am considering moving to 2 point to allow shaft to swell a bit more (and to not take FOREVER to retighten ;), did you notice a visible difference btwn the 2 and 4 points? can you look at a loc and tell "this it the moment i switched from 4 to 2 points"? I'm wondering if there will be a transition line permanently on the locs. Thanks!
@kraxykam72424 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing
@kimberlyskrobol91674 жыл бұрын
So I tried the 2 point rotation a few weeks ago and it was a total disaster!! Lots of loops and gaps. My hair is a very fine soft 3B texture so I think I need the structure of the 4 point rotation. Also it didn’t save me Time or feel faster at all. In fact I have to go back in to fix a bunch. I think her texture is coilyer than mine and that makes a huge difference. Consider your texture above all else. Needless to say, I’m going back to my trusted pattern
@Edefrem3 жыл бұрын
Hello! I have heard that 2 point rotations lead to a more "flat" locs as opposed to a 4 point rotation that leads to a more cylindrical loc. Can you share your experience with this?
@friendliee2 жыл бұрын
no ! 😡🤷🏽♀️

That would be a 3 point rotation you heard about, not 2. The 3 point gives a shape similar to a braid.

I noticed on another one of your videos you said you have 193 locs, I have 183 starter braidlocs myself. So do you consider yours micro-locs or sisterlocks? Also love your videos, very informative 😊
@NaturallyMotivatedLady4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Since I started my locs with braids, I usually call them braidlocs or interlocks. Technically, I guess they could also be called microlocs or just small locs. However, since they were not done by a sisterlocks technician, and do not have the sisterlocks grid, and barely have half as many locs as sisterlocks, I do not call them sisterlocks. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
@RobinNatural14 жыл бұрын
I just started my braidlocs. I’m so excited. Do you remember if you sprayed anything on your hair in the beginning to help it loc or tangle? Also, because my hair is soft and curly my ends are curling up, should I do anything to help keeping them from locking up in a “bump”? Love your hair and the information you share. Blessings!
@NaturallyMotivatedLady4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 😊 I apologize for missing your message. I washed it often (at least once a week) to help it along. As for keeping your locs from bunching, you may want to braid and band when you wash it.
