any team with: A decent dps role(Blademaster, Ranger, Gunslinger, etc.) An AoE Caster that are mostly Sorcerers and Elementalists although some can already come from some of your dps units(Tristana, Gangplank, Varus, MF, Yasuo, etc.) And AoE CC like Lulu, Pyke, Kennen, Morgana, Cho and Sej(even Gnar maybe) I usually win or lose cause of these factors alone, the other units will be comp building which depends on the roles on the units you got from what I said earlier

Tip #1 - Focus on farming as much income as you can at all times. In Teamfight Tactics, you earn bonus interest on your gold count for every 10 gold you have to a maximum of 50 gold. This gold is important for being able to level in TFT and raise your level. Tip #2 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Use strong individual units in the beginning of the game. Often times players in TFT focus on building synergies in the beginning and end up using 1-star units that don't provide much value. Tip #3 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Your build should focus on the items you get whenever possible. Items in TFT make or break your final comp and need to be your first focus to win. Tip #4 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Watch the other players in the TFT match to identify who will be in the final 3. If they are building a specific comp that you can counter it will pay off handsomely in the end. Tip #5 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Pay attention to trends that are appearing in your rolls throughout the TFT match. If you are being given the same units or synergies repeatedly it means those are available in the pool and can be picked up for easy 2 or 3-star units. Tip #6 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Keep an eye on unit availability. If you are going for a build be sure to look around at other players to see if others are going the same build as you. If they are, you might consider switching to another TFT synergy as the availability of those units will go down considerably. Tip #7 to Improve at Teamfight Tactics - Be willing to give up on a strategy that isn't working. I've played many TFT matches where I was in last place with less than 10 HP and re-rolled my entire build to pull out a 1st place win. Sometimes the build isn't working and must be thrown away.

Noble/Knight is cheap, easy to Level, and Effective. Especially if you use Darius, since he's also Imperial meaning you can grab Draven and still have Synergy later (going Noble/Knight/Imperial). There are also enough Nobles to be flexible, since you don't have to 6 Noble. Vayne, Fiora, Garen, Lucian, Leona and Kayle. That's a Ranger, Blade Master, Gun Slinger, Support and... um... what ever Kayle is. But Kayle is the last one, a 5 Cost, so doesn't matter what Kayle is. What matters is you have a ton of Flexibility there. Things like Noble/Knight/Guardian works really well, because the Synergy of EACH Class works together. Nobles give 1 Unit (unless you have all 6 Nobles, then ALL Units) 60 Armor, 60 MR, and 35 Health Per Attack. Okay, well Knights give ALL UNITS Damage Reduction (15, 30 and 60 I believe). Oh yeah, and Guardians give 50 Armor, stackable, to Units that are beside them. So you take that Imperial Darius, who might get the Imperial Double Damage Bonus, and you put him between your Leona and your Braum. Well, he MIGHT get the Noble 60/60 Defenses. And then he gets the 100 Armor from Guardians flanking him. Now how about your Guardian is rocking an Item that also gives Armor. Suddenly you have a nearly invincible Darius with X2 Damage. 3 Nobles is VERY flexible, allowing you to go a lot of different ways. You can Blade Master/Gun Slinger easily, with Fiora and Lucian. This might lead you to Pirates early, as Gangplank is a Pirate/Blade Master/Gun Slinger. And Aatrox is a 3 Cost Unit for Blade Master that is really good. Shen is also a nice Blade Master at 2 Cost, with a really sweet Ultimate. Or maybe you want Glacial. With Glacial you have Ash as a main consideration. So you want Ranger Buff. Hello, Vayne. You also have Sejuani who is a Knight. Hello, Garen. Probably the 2nd most Flexible is Wild, but I think Nobles get over-looked a lot. Maybe because the Buff only affects ONE Unit, unless you have all 6 of them. And getting all 6 of them AND having most of them Level 3 is really hard, since you have to Donkey Roll to get that many 1 Cost/2 Cost Units to Level 3 (especially if using other 1 Costs, like Darius, or 2 Costs, like Shen, in the Comp) instead of relying on a 'Big Boss' 4 Cost/5 Cost at the end. So you can run into Level Issues, but if your Items are good you can even overcome that.

watched this, I had never saved up before, and I usually never paid much attention to the team buffs that certain people would give. You didnt mention it, but you saying that you were going all blademaster or all sharpshooter made me realize that I should get more team combos, So I stacked vanguards to get 1k armor on them and won against someone with 6 3 stars by just having 2! Your item saving tip was really effective too. Thanks for the help! (btw that was my first ever win)

I have yet to lose with my 6 yordle + ahri comp. This comp gives you 6 yordle, 2 wild, and 3 sorc as well as 1 ninja. Another important thing is to get a Lulu with 2 rageblade and shojin. Having another rageblade on veigar is also nice and tank items on kennen.

@@DrybearGamers it actually uses Lulu as a 'carry' that you protect. Once she gets a few stacks on the double rageblade and gets her first ult to proc shojin, you basically win that round because she ukts every 2 and under seconds. Kennen is also a great unit for AoE dmg and veigar is great at deleting units.

I will say there is also a fair amount of luck involed in this game as well as one bad roll can hang you no matter how good you are. even still I am playing alot better I am still loosing but I'm doing far better then before thanks to your tips, the items and how to use them will ever be the biggest learning curve in a game like this as well as figuring out what to pare with what and where to place them. but I am having so much fun now thank you for the amazing tips.

Came here found this video and you were right, Second match I took the win Instantly, now I have been top 3 almost every time except where I cant seem to pull together a decent counter. I'm in Silver right now. I get away with a lot of Donkey Rolling on Nobles, usually either adding Knights or Blade Masters. I tend to get Level 3 on Lucian, Vayne and Garen, and sometimes Fiora. When going Knights with it, I tend to get Level 3 Darius. I've had 5 Level 3s multiple times with these cheap units. As long as you managed some decent items, this can Win, even if you are Out-Leveled by others. Of course at Higher Elo, I doubt anyone lets you get that many Level 3s, at least not often enough for it to be a reliable strategy.

Yea I would love to build my team around items. But I can never get items. I probably get 0-1 items in the minion rounds while some people get 3-4 which is bs.

The carousel rounds are killing me. I can't always remember who has what properties and which item the icon is (in the later rounds) so I keep messing up the carousel. Sometimes I just can't tell who is who. I think they will have a real burden of knowledge problem to this game if they keep adding stuff. The carousel is the ONLY time in the game you cannot check champs or items if you forget what they are, which is a marked problem because it turns the game from strategy to memory to succeed.

This I think is also my biggest issue. During carousel I literally have no idea what i'm doing with champs/items. As well as picking them for the board outside of Type Synergies

Try to pay attention to the rounds at the top, and when you know a carousel is coming up start thinking about what item you need before you get there. Helps reduce panic. Also, you can look back at your board during the carousel by clicking the map!

you are supposed to get double xp at the beggining of the round if you buy at that time, I have tried that but 80% of the time I get just 4 xp and not 8, why is that?. For instance, I do it after everyone get teleported to the area where everyone gets to pick an item and before the first fight.

played a game today where I tried going assassin's and rolls kept giving me freljord champs, at this time I was about 70g deep so I sold my assassin's and was able to build tier 2 freljord champs and the items I had built worked really well on most of the champs ended up with 3 champs that were tier 3 and the rest tier 2 into the final round and won sometimes figuring out that the game is shoving a certain composition of champs down you're throat can win you the game

You gave contradictory information many times in this video. What is more important, Synergy? Levels? Both? I’ve been losing the last 4 rounds. Should I switch my comp? Or stick with my comp because I’ve spent so much money on it and they are no guarantees that I’ll find a new build at this point in the game. Especially since the time it takes to rebuild, takes significantly longer then the preround timer, during that time I could just look for that one twisted fate I need for a 3 star. Same thing with how tell us to spend money. Example: I have 19 gold. There’s been a lot of Darius in the shop, should I buy him even tho he doesn’t fit my current build? Or save my gold and build my economy? At what point in the game does this apply. TLDR: too much contradiction in this video
