so I have a question that is similar to Tip# 5. If the game is giving you options early to buy a few tier 2 units and a few tier 1 units, what should you typically go for? E.G. you have one to two 2 star units on the board already(built from one stars), but then the game gives you a choice between buying two Elises or a Shen. Do you go for the possible two star or spend the two gold to buy shen as a solid unit?

Hey. I've been playing League for like 5 years now and I never got out of silver in solo/duo, which I actually was really depressed about. Then TFT came out and I no lifed the hell out of it and got Gold IV. One of the reasons this happened was because of your videos. I learned so much in such a short amount of time! Getting out of silver is so easy just learn how to play jg or mid and just be a metaslave. Or just learn how to play yas and carry every game.

Can't agree more with all the tips here. But if I were to give a tip, it would be to look at the items & team comp you try to achieve. If items are not there yet, try to lose a bit in the beginning to build eco & more chance to get the items. Then, slowly lose or start winning in the mid phase. 60hp or wolf stage is where you should start to commit to a specific comp. The tip to slowly lose (or luckily win) is to get whatever 2 stars units in even w/o synergy. You know at least they would kill some of the enemy units.

tip #1 when tft gives you lemons - make lemonade, i saw myself ignoring some unit so many times in a row it would be 3 star with no effort

Lern the items and combos so you know how you can maybe one Hit ore barely not aß an example thats saves one Hit of your chare and the next atk can do ful damage on another unit

I can tell you this: All my friends that are Diamond+ have 3-4 ideal builds they go for in 95% of games. All my friends who can't escape gold are tunnelling on 1 or maybe 2 builds and have no sense of how to pivot/transition.

In regards to #1, tbh if you have 50 gold and max interest why not start saving up pieces for 3 star units? Idk maybe that's why I'm stuck in plat lmao.

Drybear what do you think about my gameplay Normally i try to go full eco for the complete first stage and try to get 1-2 Units to 2* for the PvE Round. Stage 2-1 - 2-3 it depends what units i got until then, but in most cases i will keep the loosestreak until after the caroussel. With this tactic i can gurantee 1 full item + the early caroussel where i can pick up smth usefull for my comp. It feels like i can force every single comp because i got the early gold lead and the item advantage. Not more items but more usefull items. In 9/10 games i have about the same core items (like 3 items) and i can force the same comp. I feel like its really strong because you trade your health for an advantage to get a few steps ahead of everyone, even the winstreaker. Ofc sometimes there are high highroller so it doesnt work but i got a pretty decent winrate and managed to peak at Plat 1 (plat 2 currently)

"Avoid going for 3 stars units..." No! One of the top builds is going for 3 stars units and... "until you have your build" Okay... But you can do that with some comps that works with 7 units and it's good too. The problem is if other players are going for the same units than you.

Knowing when going for 3* is worth it and not a huge money sink is a high skill decision. This tip isn't aimed at GM or Challenger players. In most cases, forcing a 3* when you don't know what your build is or when your build is not finished is a COMPLETE distraction.

End game usually depends on your layout of units in the feild. It's super important and learning how to position against said enemy comp is what will get you that win majority of the time.

9:27 alternatively you can one trick a comp which is always relatively strong, like rangers, and learn the different permutations and counters to other comps

SmokeyBeefRoarus it has an rng element but its skilled because u have to be adaptive, learn to position, itemization, comp knowledge, econ, re roll, etc
