I gained more insight into my issues from this video than I have from my general practitioner, 2 ENTS, 1 allergist, 1 Naturopath and one sleep specialist. I’m still congested by the way.

My Nose has been 75% to 50% Blocked for 57 years . I have found if i do not eat Seed Products , which is some what inconvenient in the Modern Day West . My Nose has Unblocked , it is Quiet Noticeable Both Nostrils are open at the same time ! If i eat some Flour or seed based Foods it will Block up the Next Day , and it takes around 5 days to clear .

Can you elaborate on “seed based products”? Do you mean just seed oils? Or any seeds in general? Like, raw sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds?

I tried lungwort. I also keep xylitol, saline and Vit C nasal sprays to use routinely, but not frequently.

Ever since a child my nose has felt as if I'm breathing through a straw. It's lead me to having terrible facial structure, on top of it being more difficult to breathe on a daily basis. it's heavily affected my sleep and it's quality. I wish there was an easier fix that wasn't a nasal dilator , or a risky procedure.

I would like to know what is your preferred technique for turbinate reduction ?
@Nan-59 Жыл бұрын
In the end of December 2022, I had a turbinate reduction. It seemed better for just a few days, but then I was back to not being able to breathe through my nose. So I went back to my ENT and he looked at my nose and my turbinates were all swollen again. He said I am only the second person who he’s done turbinate reduction on, and the surgery didn’t work.!😮 I’m planning to have my nasal septum straightened and another turbinate reduction in a few months. I did have sinus surgery in 1994 where they worked on my septum, and sinuses, but for some reason my septum is still not straight and blocks my nose on that side. I hope my upcoming surgery works. While searching around about nasal problems, I saw a problem called empty nose syndrome. !!😮. It’s a terribly horrific condition which makes me wonder if I should have this surgery on my nose or not. Empty nose syndrome usually happens after you’ve had nasal surgery, and there is no cure for that from how I read about it anyway. I’m sorry you have nasal problems breathing too. It’s a real bummer.! ❤❤✌🏻

My nose was always stuffy from age 10 to 50. At age fifty, I decided to start running around the neighborhood. I run five miles a run, three times a week. After running for three years, I realized that my nose was no longer stuffy. My cure for curing a stuffy nose is to exercise.

i was about 60 give or take when one day, after one night of sleep, i woke up with one nostril completely clogged whish was something i never felt before, it was so horrible and i felt so desperate. since then, i have to cover my nostrils with a piece of cloth and that makes the stuffy feeling go away. Now with the pandemic gone, I still use the mask when i go outside, and that also helps me. What could be the reason for this situation?

I've felt congested for many years now.. allergy nose sprays make it worse. When I sneeze, it sometimes smells very sweet. When close my mouth and trap air under my top lip, I sometimes hear a small crackeling sound in my ears and feel some movement in front of my ears. I'm so sick of this and I don't know what to do.. I was denied getting an appointment with an ENT doctor.
