After 50+ YEARS of sinus hell (multiple doctor/specialist visits [even drove to UC Davis sinus center because I was so desperate]), multiple prescriptions, multiple infections/surgeries, eustation tube dysfunction, hearing loss, etc. I actually cried yesterday because allergy season was starting. Tonight, i was lying in bed with an AWFUL sinus headache. I was about to get up and do the medication/hot wet towel routine when i I came across this video. I thought, "It's probably nonsense, but I'll try it." As i lifted my cheekbone and pulled my nose away in the opposite direction, I felt a loud pop AND INSTANT RELIEF!!! Hello Dr. Mandall, Thank you for your helpful videos and for sharing your expertise on sinus problems. I've been dealing with chronic sinusitis for over a decade now and have been relying on nasal drops and sprays to manage it. I tried the techniques from your "Drain Sinus & Clear Stuffy Nose in 1 Move" video, and while they temporarily open up the blockage, it quickly returns, and I continue to struggle with clearing out the mucus. I kindly request if you could create a video addressing permanent solutions for sinusitis, or alternatively, organize a Q&A session where individuals like myself can ask you questions directly through video conferencing. Your dedication to educating us is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your response. Thank you for all your hard work.

I used nasal decongestants for years, even knowing they are very bad for cardio vascular health, but I was so desperate because my nose was totally inflamated that eating was even dangerous, for the risk of chocking with food as breathing while eating. Years went by and the effect of this products started being leaser and leaser every time to the point of beconming almos useless...I was terribly desperated and depressed since I was not able to sleep, eat orr even speak normally...I didnt know what to do....when I was at the worst point, one day, just like magic my nose open up and I began to breath, first I thought it would last just for a couple hours and I didn't want to get exited, but after a couple days with an open nose I started digging into all the things I did diferently in the last days, specially what I eat, and I realized that some days before while watching a movie and not having a proper snak I ate a huge bag of dry cranberries, almost 250 grams I would say, so I went and buy a lot and ate something like 250 grams again. Since that day I havent ever had a stuff nose again. There are si much components in cranberries that I dont know what is actually the one that did the trick, but it did. One nostril is SUPPOSED to blocked up 95% all the time for your whole life, it’s called the nasal cycle. It switches back and fourth every couple hours and helps with smelling since many chemicals only bind with low airflow and it helps with moisturizing the air you breath and to stop your nose from drying out. That’s not what a sinus blockage is. Obviously, it gets worse and more noticeable if you’re sick, but it’s completely normal to only breath from one nostril at a time.

You have heard this a million times I am sure… and you may not ever see this comment, but thank you so much. I hate the videos (and ads) that promise to help you-the ones that give 25 testimonies about how great the doctor’s advice is, the videos where you need to sit through 45 minutes of (unpausable) talking about how wonderful the method is, only to be met at the end with having to purchase some elaborate book and DVD package or a bunch of vitamins. You are a blessing. thank you.
@glennso473 жыл бұрын
I don’t like the videos that go on and on about how wonderful something is without telling you what that something really is. You sit and sit for what seems like an eternity waiting for the people to get to the point only to be as you say at the end with having to buy some books or vitamin supplements. Some of the videos are so long and boring that I often want to take my computer and throw it as far as I can.
