The first story really hits home for me. In 2001,my ex wife took the bus home from work. She was harassed by a homeless guy. He followed her off the bus and chased after her. She got to the pharmacy nearby and begged them to let her in because they were closed. They let her in and locked the door before the guy got to it. And then threatened to call the cops. She called me and I rushed home from work. I looked for the guy after hearing the description. Didn’t find him. Several months later while watching the news,the cops caught a serial rapist in our city. She cried and told me that was the guy that followed her that night. To say I was enraged and disappointed that I didn’t find him,still bothers me.

Story #5 - I think the lady omitted and added other things from/to the story. I suspect the guy at the bar was purposely placed to lure her...maybe from her husband to get a "clean" divorce and custody of the kids. Think about it out of all the women she says she was with...yeah the guy happened to single her out. So either she's lying about meeting him with her girlfriends or she was set up. Also if you are a stay at home wife with no income of your own, why would you wire 3 grand from an account that your husband has access to. This is stupid and a clear sign of set up. I think her husband knew that she was unhappy and thinking of filing for divorce since she clearly has no problem telling people about her marriage problems. He simply beat her to it. There are people in this world that lend themselves for a fee to set up others.

Story 1: "It was insane how incredibly unhelpful they (cops) were". Sadly, you didn't do ANYTHING to help your situation: This is a time when you're locked in your apartment with no phone hoping your roommate will unknowingly walk into a potentially dangerous situation? Pound on the neighbor's walls with a hammer screaming for help. Open the apartment windows, throw out glass to break and make as much noise while you scream "FIRE" Yell out the locked door and pretend your on the phone with the cops. Falling asleep hoping your roommate will cruise in and save you is sort of the last option and frankly, stupid.

YES! i was listening to this story like this person is an idiot... they had a phone! they tried to previously call the damn roommate and they didn't answer so why then did they not call for help or go someplace else close? You do NOT lead the weirdo to your home, for crying out loud! The fact that they literally ran away with the phone at first, why would they put it away in their pocket so they could drop it instead of just straight up calling the cops while she was on her way? she said it was a 15 min walk.. and in all that time before she sprinted, she never bothered to try to call the police, but stood there screaming about a creepy dude on the other side of the door... the entire story was terribly annoying and frustrating. Could have yelled out of the window, gone and seen if a laptop was in your roommates room, signed into a messenger and asked a friend to send the cops to you, or even facebook, something, anything! yelled for neighbors. tbh she could have turned up some music super loud so the neighbors would call the police about the noise. Instead she goes and has a nap and potentially lets the roommate get done in by the creeper :/

I feel like the main problem with a lot of ppl in these stories is that they’re too timid and afraid of confrontation, they’re too scared to anger a person to realize that they’re already angry and want to hurt u so talking won’t help. I tried to calm down a situation by talking and I ended up getting jumped that’s when I realized there’s no point in talking if u see a tense situation just leave and if u can’t leave say firmly that u don’t want trouble so it’s known that you’re not the aggressor and if they still persist then attack them as viciously as u can if u have a fun shoot them if u have a knife stab them u can’t be afraid to hurt or kill someone cause then it’s u that will be on the wrong end of it. I always carry at least 1 knife and I don’t want to hurt anybody but if someone wants to hurt me then I feel absolutely no guilt or remorse I’m going to cut u up and all I’ll think about is if the situation was reversed would u have sympathy for me? Would u show me mercy? Probably not so you’ll get none from me

I don't condone the actions of guy from the last story, but I'd be lying if I said that I don't admire his determination and love for his children. He resorted to a life of crime just to ensure that his kids were fed and had a roof over their head. Not a lot of peoole care enough about their children to go that far and it's unfortunate how many children suffer because of this. Still a pretty messed up story though. 🥴

Story 5 - red flags galore. It’s weird af this man gets annoyed looking after his kids once a month. Also not sure why dummies who are unhappy in relationships don’t consider leaving/divorcing. Because cheating seems like the better option? All this from a “long hug”? At the end of the night? Pretty sure it’s not good times spilling your guts to a complete stranger. She’s shocked about the consequences from her actions? Big yikes.

That last story was messed up. He said he's not a bad person but he hurt people and he claims he would undoubtedly do it again? I would say that def makes him a bad person. Also, "I did what anyone would do. I robbed bars." I'm sorry, what?!? That is not the first thing most people think of. I'm not sure how he skipped past trying to find a social worker and applying for unemployment, food stamps or whatever and went straight to robbing people. Also, I call bull that the child protective services worker assigned to his case would be satisfied with him not having a job but suddenly having money.

The story about wiring the $3,000 was insultingly fake. I actually laughed out loud. Save it for Wattpad.
@hazelmill202 жыл бұрын
I was merely skeptical until the end when she said her husband got custody of the kids. That completely gave it away. In America a woman has to be a complete raving lunatic or hardcore drug addict to lose custody. And even then sometimes it’s iffy
