The scariest college stories all start with, "I was in the middle of such and such a program. Then COVID-19 hit." It doesn't matter where you are on Earth. This pandemic disrupted in-person and combined learning classes; resulted in a plethora of technology hiccups while learning to use them; and most of all, quarantine measures prohibited students from seeing their friends, even more so if boarding students were forced to move away during/right before school started. It's the new "Til I took an arrow to the knee." punchline of this once in a life time punch to the face meant to reveal the flaws of global healthcare and especially the USA's health insurance debacle.

In my first ever apartment, after living there for about a year, my downstairs neighbor died and was there for 3 or 4 days before his visiting nurse came back and found his decomposing body on his bed. His apartment had the exact same layout as mine and it took me a long time to get over the fact that I had been living and sleeping and eating above a dead man for half a week. And to make it even worse, when the cheap ass landlord went in to clean out the man's belongings, he took the mattress that the man died and was decomposing on and threw it into the dumpster. In the middle of the summer, this biohazard mattress sat half hanging out of the dumpster for DAYS! The dumpster that all of us walked past to get to and from the parking lot. The dumpster that all of us threw our garbage and every day..... THAT'S ILLEGAL. That's not something that you get over.....
@SoCalRegisteredNurse3 жыл бұрын
OMG!!! I would’ve called the department of health on your landlord. You can call anonymously. That’s definitely considered biohazard ☣️ and needs to be disposed of properly. That’s just a plain, cheep ass nasty landlord. Ugh, I’m sorry that happened. I’d be effing pissed

@nami24833 жыл бұрын
@Irrumabo Vos pretty sure it’s more about the fact they had been living with a decomposing body a floor below them? I’m sure that would freak anyone out. We all know everyone dies man, but no one wants to know that they’ve been living next to a dead person for weeks/days on end

I enjoyed listening to all these stories. They're very interesting. About the fifth story. I hope the one who submitted that story is still alive and well because you "the writer" stated earlier that you're not going to breathe a word of what you saw on that bar's washroom on that night. You were already being threatened with a hockey stick. He could have bludgeoned you with it. And now you're posting a story here on the podcast. You don't know if he's listening to your story right now as of this very moment. What if he figures out that you're the one writing that. Maybe he'll come searching for you. Better take care yourself man. Be vigilant. Peace.

Okay, so I have a friend who’s gay and is afraid to come out, so through them, I can kind of understand the horror and fear of someone unintentionally finding out. But murder? I think that guy was either deeply disturbed already, or maybe something horrific happened to him in the past when someone found out he was gay. But still, who resorts to manipulation and murder as a first go!? If it’s not the mentally disturbed route, I do feel somewhat bad for the guy. For him to be so desperate, it’s scary trying to imagine what he went through to create such an outlook…
