I like on the 2nd story how she's like 'when the gunshot didn't phase him, that's when I knew he was on drugs'. So before that when he crashed in the yard and u saw him butt naked eyes bulging and smiling with blood and feathers on his face right after he kept biting in to the twitching live chicken, maybe he was just having an enjoyable evening stroll in the same way we all do sometime, and then wait, he didn't flinch for a gunshot, things just got weird

The second story is why you don’t bother with warning shots. It may sound callous, but even ignoring the fact that you can potentially be charged with reckless endangerment for firing a gun blindly, it also instills confidence in your attacker that you’re not willing to actually shoot them. I’d especially make that argument when you’re attempting to scare someone who’s crashed through your front yard and is currently tearing apart your chickens with his bare hands. You don’t see real police officers firing warning shots, and for good reason. If you pull a gun on someone, you’d best be ready and completely willing to use it. You don’t shoot to kill, but you do shoot to neutralize the threat (meaning you shoot until they stop advancing towards you or attempting to harm you).

I need to correct something. You "said" while reading the story, a burst appendix can be pretty serious...NO NO NO !!! It's a matter of life and death. You die from sepsis, from the stuff the brust appendix released in side your gut. And if your unlucky enough to have that happen to you, it takes a good year or two before you feel as good as you did before it brust. I speak from experience. And from working in the operating room over a decade.

I'm late listening to this one, but thank you, whoever submitted the Black Widow bite story. I've been there, done that, and spent a night in the hospital but like the storyteller says, their bites are not fatal (to a normal person) and there is no reason to get panicky about them. Plus they only bite when their lives are threatened. (The one that got me crawled into bed with me and I accidentally crushed her in my sleep.)

Omg the third story... as he's describing sleep paralysis with the faint buzzing/static-type noise, it gave me chills. I haven't had it in forever, but I ALWAYS hear that buzzing noise and not only can I NOT move, but, eventually, it's almost as though the buzzing noise overtakes me, I get pins & needles, numbness and start feeling as though I'm being... well, electrocuted (and I have been before, so I know the sensation) in these spurts - on/off, on/off... until I eventually pass out. It's awful, and I've never heard anyone else describe that before.

I've had really bad bad episodes of night paralysis since childhood. (Tho thankfully adulthood they are further & further in between! Knock on 🪵!😂) But I've never felt like I was being electrocuted like u do. That sounds COMPLETELY HORRIFIC! Have u spoken to your Dr about those specific sensations & how u kinda pass out when u can't take anymore? Bc it almost sounds like you're having a seizure in the midst of your night paralysis. But now I'm really worried for u, friend!

Anytime I’ve had a paranormal experience, and I’ve had a wide variety of them, I have heard that buzzing or static noise. It actually caused a phobia of bees. So I got hypnotized, and was asked when was the first time I felt such fear and heard the buzzing. I recall it, I was two years old, and a pale face with huge black eyes was staring at me from the edge of my mattress. I also saw a shadow man with a wide brimmed hat and trenchcoat when I was 13, was frozen and not able to move when I stomped up to him thinking he was my brother. Then I noticed the sun coming up through the window in our back door. So, if it is a mental problem or actual effect of paranormal events, I understand what you experienced.

I hate how absolutely genius, academically intelligent and financially successful career wise these people are at a young age. They had the intelligence to persevere for there degree in whatever major. And find themselves an amazing job making tons of money. But they're complete clueless dumb asses when it comes having any sort of street knowledge, not even the basics. It bothers me how they can achieve something so effortlessly. Something i lack in immensely. But when it comes to situational awareness, they just do not have the correct mindset in the slightest. Terrible judgement of character. Just not the least bit comprehensive. That would make me the opposite. Far from financially successful. I'm actually damn near homeless. But I'll see suspicions a mile away. Red flags, feeling out people's true intentions, picking up on vibes, is pretty much my specialty. All i'm really good at. College isn't my thing. But at the very least, i'm glad i have my finely tuned senses. In person that is.

V B I doubt that. Some, but not all. Too much consistency to quite a few which is a sign of truth rather than lies. People see things (ghosts) and rely on common tropes to tell stories. Plus human behavior does dictate actions/reactions to such events. People see themselves as more unique than they are in reality. Try playing a prank on all your friends and see how many have the same reaction. Both educational as well as fun as hell.

The story about the sleep paralysis, I've struggled with this since I was a child. It started harmless, no hallucinations of figures and audio, but it eventually escalated to physical hallucinations and audio! I felt everything these figures did and it was always so scary for me. Listening to this story made me feel like I wasn't alone, but I'm sorry that they had to have someone actually prey for them in the night. QuQ

nobody likely entered her room. sleep paralysis are closed-eyed hallucinations, despite how vivid they appear. I suffered from it during my twenties and confirmed myself that my eyes weren't actually open during episodes, when my closet door was open during one and shut when I woke up.
@levitatingoctahedron922
@levitatingoctahedron922 18 күн бұрын
On story #3, it's not very likely that the man actually entered her room. Sleep paralysis, even though almost always including a hallucination of where the person is sleeping, is in fact just that, a closed-eyed hallucination. This has been thoroughly documented, and I can confirm it myself as someone who suffered from sleep paralysis for several years in my twenties. I heard this from someone while talking about my episodes, and looked it up myself and though that was the general consensus I didn't believe it because the hallucinations of my bedroom were so vivid. But I did eventually confirm it, by seeing my closet door open while I was experiencing sleep paralysis, and then waking up to see that it was closed. I even once had a similar experience to this girl, of my roommate with a wicked grin inside my room approaching me during an episode, something that would be out of character for him to the point of absurdity. I understand why she thinks it happened the way it did, the hallucinations are extremely vivid, but I highly doubt it, and that very well probably was just a kind neighbor.

Rule #1 and f someone ever bangs that n your door , knocking really loud. No not let them know you’re there, until you can IDENTIFY WHO it is. Rule#2 If someone outside your door does not willingly identify themselves. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR.

How fucked up is the US that you have to contemplate calling 911 because an ambulance will cost a couple grand? And that’s on top of all the other medical bills you’ll get. In countries that view people as humans and not walking dollar signs, the only cost you worry about is parking.

31:08 Really? I highly advise you not to be making such broad speculative statements. Because a regular house spider bite will cause my throat to swell closed. So...For me? A black widow bite? Would or very highly could be fatal. There are many out there with such severe allergies and you telling everyone, hey it's no big deal. Yea, for YOU! That does not apply to everyone.

Sleep paralysis is terrifying.. I haven't had it often enough to prepare for it when it's about to happen. Even then you never know what you're gonna see or hear.. my very first time we moved into a new house. My husband was at work.. I had finished unpacking in the middle of the day and laid down. I kept hearing sounds like soft foot steps almost tiptoeing, rummaging through drawers, and eventually.. the door to the porch slamming shut. I jumped up every time to check it out and as soon as I'd get out of bed it'd stop. After lying down the fourth or so time I'm on my side facing the doorway.. a blacked out figure peers around the corner then runs at me full speed. Next thing I know I'm screaming top of my lungs (no actual sound coming out) and this thing is on me trying to strangle me. Call me crazy but I feel that maybe sleep paralysis is somehow paranormal.. that house I lived in was certainly haunted. I'd hear all sorts of sounds, smaller objects would be moved, the cats would follow and watch unseen things at night.. the TV even came on one night while I was cowering on the couch. My skeptical husband was spooked because the bed shook that night while I was downstairs. Even then he didn't believe it was paranormal.. I had two more episodes following the first after never experiencing it before.. the second was some demonic entity up over my head. Its huge jaw opened and bit down on my face.. I felt tingling like electricity all through my head. The third.. zombies were lurking in our crawl spaces just watching me. (there were tunnels behind most of the walls that people could fit through and there were multiple little doors leading into them including right outside our bedroom door) I tried to close my eyes but they followed me into my dream. By the time I regained movement I threw myself onto the floor. I even hallucinated away from the house.. once while I was out of town at the cemetery. Clear as day a deep blue Chevy SUV was parked on the corner. I saw a pale blonde lady inside wearing a cute lacey white top. Her eyes were ice blue and she was very young looking younger than me at least.. and she started driving my way. I was jogging and took a turn to miss her. The second I looked back she was gone and nobody had seen her. Nobody else was even there.. except one car all the way across to the older section. When I asked if they had seen the specific car they looked creeped out and drove away in a hurry. Later that evening I saw a black shadow dart behind one of those little building type things with glass doors that hold multiple caskets. Since moving out of that place life has returned to normal.. no hallucinations or hauntings of any kind. I'm sure you guys will chalk it up to me having some undiagnosed mental issue or even just making it up but I think of those events often.. they definitely happened. I'm so glad we only rented and didn't end up buying that house... 😖 apologies for rambling on I just needed to get all that out.. my family, friends, and even my husband all thought I had gone insane....

When i get sleep.paralysis episode my dog can apparently sense it, and puts her nose on me, which breaks me out of it. Shes done it several times, and shes been great at helping me get through them dozens of times. Now my other female dog is picking up on the episodes too. Theyre the best dogs ever.

Good advice on the black widow story. I've been bit before. Not fun but certainly non-lifethreatening symptoms, in my case at least. Flu-like, achey. Tenderness and blood spotting on the skin around the bite area. Felt better in about 3 days. There are certainly worse spiders to be bitten by.

Story 2 - I love your channel but an Animal cruelty warning would’ve been appropriated 🥺 but nevertheless, I would’ve used “stand-your-ground” that night. That man not only attacked animals but was clearly capable of attacking humans in his drug induced mania. Injuring him would’ve put him down until the cops arrived. Any cases with animals or children really piss me off. I don’t have sympathy for people who hurt them, sane or not.

A ceiling fan is not going to decapitate you or cut you unless it has thin metal blades or very strong, very thin plastic blades (of which I have never heard of a ceiling fan having either) And who lives in Florida and doesn't have a/c?? I live in Connecticut and have have a/c and keep my apartment at 60°F year round.....

Are you fucking kidding me.? Story four starts out downplaying others fears for certain things that happened to them in the night. Claiming what they went through was something truly terrifying and life threatening and it’s a story about a black widow. So it’s ok for them to be scared of the unknown but anyone else it’s just not that scary. When the unknown became known to them turns out their life is not in jeopardy. I thought I was about to hear one of the scariest stories ever considering their obnoxious disregard for other people’s experiences The story would have been fine had it not started the way it did.. Booooo!
