I know a guy I used to go to college told me that he once picked up a hitchhiker. Shortly after the hitchhiker pulled a knife and demanded that he pulled on a side road. Instead he just sped up and started to swerve all over the road at over 120km/h. And even temporarily shut his eyes. He told the hitchhiker to throw his knife out the window or he would slam in the next transport or rock cut that he saw. The man rolled down the window and tossed out the knife. He then told the guy he was slowing down to to 10 km/h count to ten, then speed up again. When the car slowed down. The man opened up the door and jumped out.

Okay the seventh story. Okay nice weapon from a pair of house keys upgraded to a pocket knife. Now instead of using a pair of house keys to stab him. How about filleting the dude's soft flesh with that pocket knife. Maybe he'll have second thoughts of messing someone up.

And if ALL of those people who had heard that girl screaming and watched her get kidnapped had run out and helped her then the kidnappers probably wouldn't have succeeded. This me, me, me mindset that humanity, as a whole, has adopted is such a driving force for all that is wrong in this world. If when we saw someone that needed help and we ALL reacted to help them then I have no doubt that these types of things would happen less.

The thing that ppl always forget while writing these "true" stories is that being attacked by a random person is extremely rare. Like the scuba story. Ppl just don't pick random ppl in a group to hurt. The odds of some random dude picking u out of the crowd and trying to hurt u not once but twice is statically ridiculously rare. But ppl all want a horror movie story regardless of facts
@spider-mancantsee58753 жыл бұрын
There are stories of killers just randomly choosing people, so it’s not that surprising really.
@Elena-bk4fs3 жыл бұрын
it’s really not that uncommon. most crimes are crimes of opportunity and there is no motive. it happens all the time. there are actually apps to track random violent crimes, especially if it’s a super bad area. there’s also an entire database called WISQARS by the cdc, used to track injury & violence incidents. unfortunately public health has recognized random acts of violence as a major public health topic of concern because it is that common /:
@BurroughsProductions3 жыл бұрын
@@Elena-bk4fs I mean it def is especially things like murder, qttempted murder, and assaults. Violent crimes that are random are usually associated with other crimes like theft. But most of the ppl get hurt it's from someone they knew and wasn't random. Like don't just randomly swim up to divers and try to drown them for no reason.

@@Fanmanniak what material were these pants made of?? I just have a hard time imagining somebody piercing a man's pants and stabbing through his skin with a key. Mainly because keys are so small making them difficult to get a firm grip, and considering keys are extremely dull on the tip it would be tough to hold steady enough to jam such a blunt object through both clothing and skin... And it's not like the guy was purposely sitting still allowing you to stab him. So you're stabbing a curved surface, covered in some type of cloth, that is moving, with a small blunt object.

For several years I lived in a location in Mississippi that didn't have a name. The edge of the nearest towns were all at least about 10-15 miles away. The "neighbors" were squatting meth heads in an abandoned trailer. When I first moved in the only business was a gas station because I lived right off a highway, but after a year a random dollar general popped up. That place had only 50-60 people total and was so rural that there was no TV and no internet other than satellite which we couldn't get installed because we were renting. My SO and I spent a lot of time outside and we watched a big binder full of dozens of dvds and we played video games on story mode. Cool experience.

@Steven Brooks - I feel you! I live in a suburb SE of Houston, not too far from the Gulf and our highs this week were in the upper 20’s and lows in the single digits many nights. Our power went out Monday night and didn’t come back on until 4:00 AM today (Friday)! We STILL can’t drink the water because it has A LOT of nasty bacteria in it... How are people supposed to BOIL water when there’s NO ELECTRICITY?! My home is not set up for natural gas along with most of my neighbors... It takes electric to start up most gas heating systems, so many people with gas can’t even enjoy their heater! Most people don’t even have fireplaces because the highs this time of year are usually in the 60’s and I’ve seen it get up to nearly 80°!!! You know how Texas coastal weather can be... I hope your power is back on now! If not, make a comment back to me and I’ll give you some REALLY useful tips that kept us from freezing to death, saved our refrigerated food from rotting and let us eat hot meals every day. I would be extremely happy to share some of the secrets my family and I used to get us through this HORRIFIC week! Best of luck my fellow Texan! ♥️🤠🌴

When diving, during the ascension the nitrogen, depressurizing, "splits" from the bloodstream, "condensed" in bubbles, and it will need some extra time to be reabsorbed properly, otherwise one has a rather severe risk of embolism. I have a story... a few actually but it's not quite as creepy or sad as these but I remember I was hanging out with 2 of my female friends. We we're at one of their apartment just having a good time talking about life singing but it was getting late so me and my other friend left to go home. It was about 3 am and we walked to the train station I was living in a rough part of the bronx in NY, so we walked to the train together and split Gere because my home was just up a few blocks about like 5 or 6 so I gave her a hug and told her I'll see her at work the next day.... now keep in mind its in the middle of August and it's a really hot night. As I start to walk down the way I normally due I'm immediately on guard because it's late very few people is outside and I'm a young lady walking by myself, I look around to see if anyone is in my vicinity when I spot a black man l. I kept walking but slow because this man had on a bubble coat on in the summer time and as I'm still walking he's facing my direction he then puts his hood up and immediately starts walking in my direction. I quickly turn around ran to the train station as the train doors was about to close I jumped in and my friend was looking at me like I lost my mind when I explained what happened she was like shocked and asked if I had anything for protection and sadly I didn't. I just took the train 2 stops which would took me longer to get home but more populated

Depends how deep. If you had a submarine you could go much deeper than most, and your chances of evading your stalker increase by 82%

..Best narration voice resonance on YT which carries the listener through each story. Other YT voices you may have to rewind bcuz you heard the words but did not “ hear” them. ✌️

Luckyyyy!! I'm still freezing my ass off down here in San Antonio. 3rd straight day without power, and from what I've heard, they're not thinking it's going to be on for the rest of the week 😑 but the rich areas of town surely never lost power for a single moment!

If you have to "wait a bit" before you drive home cause you're high, you don't need to be smoking.
