Yeah seriously I had a girlfriend who was that naive and she was cute so I literally had to fight off two of her stalkers in the first year of dating her. It was mentally exhausting. @LadyAstarionAncunin2 жыл бұрын
I’m a mild-mannered person, but in these stories in which the stalker is clever and fooling people, I feel like they should lead the stalker into a trap and beat them up. A lot of the time, the stalker doesn’t stop unless a man shows force against them. And if authorities keep saying there’s no proof, well, there’ll be no proof that he got beaten up by us. 😌

Story 5? It's baffling to me that people who are threatened like that don't get ahead of it by LITERALLY SHOVING THE EVIDENCE AT THE AUTHORITIES? Literally tell your parents & school administration? Like get ahead of it and have them get to the stalker before they can talk? They sent all the proof needed over insta messages? Also you can orchestrate an anti cyber bullying or at the time just anti bullying assembly and point out an anonymous student has been suspended for criminal level of harassment? Or something like that? But that may be me being too simple& straight forward?

@@latoyah1624 The part about the parents supposedly being able to view the footage remotely with a home security system in the early '90s reveals that that story was probably written by someone who grew up in the '00s. I know that 99% of these stories are probably fabricated anyway, but stuff like that really breaks the immersion, y'know?
@christinagillespie34183 жыл бұрын
@MidBoss Yup. When they said "come out as trans" I knew it was written by someone who didn't actually live in the 90's... "Coming out" as gay was barely a thing, that certainly wasn't a way people talked in the 90's. Talking about IMing in the 90's as though it was commonplace, and everyone had a computer, and internet connection. Also, sending photos in the mid 90's.... not easy. 😅 And then finally that they had security footage of her going into buddy's room to take pictures of him. Not. A. Thing. In. The. 90's. Fucking garbage storytelling. I know most of these are fake, but I appreciate when the writing actually makes sense and could be believable. Early 90’s? Online screen name? Instant Messenger? In the 90’s I was hardly a sentient potato but....I think those things came along fairly late in the 90’s (tbh this story sounded more like someone applying today’s social media behavior to a 90’s kid story...but then again, my family didn’t have a PC with internet connection until 2006. So maybe I’m just a super late bloomer and all the other 90’s kids were already online ^^”)

Not to mention the "threat of saying I'm coming out as trans" thing. While trans people have always existed, that just wasn't a concept for people the way it is today. It would not have been anywhere close to an idea of a threat for someone back then

Loved the video of course but story 5 (The one with Becky) seems a bit weird to me. The writer mentions it being in the early 90's but they also throw in a bunch of details that make me question the time period of the whole thing. I might be totally wrong though.
@bbjjbb613 жыл бұрын
Story 5? Lol what about story 4!? I think a couple of these are total bs.
@Mewse12039 ай бұрын
Lol, that person was definitely not a teenager in the early 90s, if he was alive at all. There were no remote access over the internet security cameras in people's houses, nor instant messaging, nor phones you could send pictures on, and you definitely wouldn't be threatening to out people as trans, because even though transpeople have always existed that wasn't really Common place back then.

Man those people had cameras in every room to actually catch Becky? And they conveniently were out of town that night. Usually it's a doorbell camera or something. Sounds fishy to me but I guess it could be true.

If 300 messages from a stranger don't scream "creep" then I don't know what does. The moment anyone sees that many messages, block them from all social media and your phone ASAP. Don't mind if they're neighbors, former classmates or whatever, you don't have to be nice to creeps but most importantly, you don't owe anything to anyone.
