I wish I watched this before I bought my first project car 2 years ago. I bought a 1966 rambler American that I still have and hopefully will run unless the body work exceeds my budget. In which case I will sell it and follow the tips from above. Hopefully I don't have to sell it.

Heres a little hint at my project car: a 2000-2003 mr2 spyder, I'm planning either to 1jz or 2jz swap it and I'm going to swap an e92 m3 dct (dual clutch transmission) into it with 250mm tires or maybe 300mm in the back and swap the original back tires to the front or bigger tires. It will also have either 450hp or ill screw it and put 700hp. This car's purpose is to be my track car or the occasional drag car to piss of muscle cars 🤣. Btw i don't have said car and I'm not 16-17 yet it's all just ideas for now. (i still have 2 years till that happens and fun fact my birthday is tomorrow) I've even estimated my total cost along with the car's price and it will be ~$7,500 US or $8,000 US because the dct i found was $900 the 1jz or 2jz around $1,000-$3,000 (im going for $1,000) the bodykit with the carbon wing around $300-$400 and the car costs $3,000-$5,000. So its all frankly cheap and hopefully will be fun to do!

Changed my mind but not on the purpose of the car. It will be a forged block with a balanced crank, +3mm of bore, billet rods, and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. I haven't thought about this till today but im getting some anti roll bars. Would've done the m3 dct but I'll probably ask someone to make a dct for my car and mass produce it. The build now costs more but only 11k or more. (Still cheaper than the 16k stock mr2 spyders and miatas am i right? 😂) I'm not gonna go too crazy with power but it's gonna be 450whp to 550whp

Liked the blonde hair and great vid. Thanks for tips guys and congrats on getting out of Cali. I bought a 61 F100 side step and my major mistake is engine parts are not easy for this 223 6 cyl. Bought site unseen and guy lied about a hole in exhaust manifold, rust, carb, drivability etc etc etc. Could be lesson #8 Never buy without seeing truck first.
