In the US? This from an American guy's perspective. Yet the fact Florence's last Album charted at No1. in US Billboard 200, the US Top Alternative Albums as well as the US Top Rock Album chart, suggests their inclusion in this video is a bit odd.

Nitpick: jumping back and forth from Two-Thousand-Eight/Nine to Twenty-Ten is kind of annoying. Pick one or the other! As for F&tM, I have a ton of respect for Florence and her band. It's just a shame that they haven't had a big hit in Australia since 'Spectrum (Say My Name)' in 2012 (Two-Thousand-Twelve).

From many fans of the song, yes, but honestly a lot of the general public and other people don’t even know what this song is. If common people nowadays were to think of Coldplay, they will probably talk about “Something like This” or “A Sky Full Of Stars”. Very true. Only POP songs in the top 20 of Hot 100 rn are The Middle, No Tears Left to Cry, Never Be the Same, and Friends. Most of pop music split up and merged with a bunch of different genres like Latin, Hip Hop, R&B, and Country. Pop as we knew it is currently dead and what we have left is cheap rehashed "EDM" like Marshmello and Zedd that all sounds the same. Hoping people like Gaga and Rihanna can pull us out of this mess.
@boyishmistakes6 жыл бұрын
Nick Rihanna and Gaga even abandoned their super poppy sound tho.
@Nick-yx5xd6 жыл бұрын
Thats true. Rumor has it Rihanna is working on both a Reggae album AND an album that sounds similar to Loud (her most pop album). Gaga has been in the studio with Bloodpop, Justin Tranter, Boys Noize, etc lately tho so it looks like they're both going back to pop in some ways.
