As I watched watched this video I was reminded of my youth and I could not afford to buy good paper. There was no online shopping and only 1 art supply store in town! I did ask for and received watercolor books and heavy weight sketchbooks. I then had good paper to work on! I cut out sheets sometimes before I even started this is how I used my blank art books! I still have yet to create a complete sketchbook like so many KZbinrs, but that is Ok. I enjoy watching you create videos of yours. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I love the red, it’s a strong look. The gradient of ink is gorgeous and the one-colour old photo is a great idea. Limiting something can take some pressure off too. The flowers and landscape are also gorgeous.

For gessoing the sketchbook - How long should I wait for the Gesso to dry before I can draw on it?

Thank you! This is just what I needed. I just got 4 new sketch books (yes, I said 4; white, black, grey & tan). The black one is only suitable for paint because for some reason they made the pages shiny, but the others are for practicing drawing people and scenery for a kid’s book I wanna do. These ideas will help me dive in without getting too intimidated by all those blank pages.

Mira,as an art lover I really enjoy your videos. I also understand that you give alot af helpful and great tips,but even though they work wonderful still I dont know why, I cant get the hang of it. I would really really super superbly love love love it u started a series with the VERY start as episode 1 and gradually teaching us. For example episode one could be all about conquer your fears and getting motivated.epidode 2 is tips for o (something..idk you are the expert lol) or you could make a theme each video but go qujte slowly because for example..water ..omg yes! Shading is the problem it's not just the shading it's more about understanding and before I ho to far ...if you start teh series maybe then I'll give more ideas...And so on. Honestly I would really enjoy it ...I LOVE YOU AND YOUR CHANNEL SO MUCH! much love and I hope you can do this..Stay safe!😊💖👇 No, wait! If you like fantasy stories you should check out The Magic of Xanth. I have it as one complete book, but apparently it's broken down into short stories when on audio so you have to be sure to get them in order. It's an amazing book, so much fun.
