I’ve tried to like saturated colors more, but I just don’t for the most part. I wish Arrtx would make a set of “natural” shades. I have their pastels, but if I bought the 60 set I know I wouldn’t use half the colors.

Glad to see you’re back and well rested. Loved the page. It’s so relaxing to see you color, I think this format of video editing really works for watching you color. Thumbs up. Dolly sounds like a really interesting character. Especially since it seems she becomes a scary monster when she grows up, but the boys don’t see it and keep putting her in cute frilly little outfits. Lol. I have to say I'm a real big fan of friendly circus clown characters and stories that partially have a bit of a story to them with a cast that come from the circus and what fun activities they get up to. I really have to say, I loved your characters Buddy, Dolly and Chuck. Dolly is so adorable, and I love how happy Chuck is in this piece. I also really loved how Buddy was standing in the rain with Dolly having a tray of cupcakes with her.

I def recommend that if you get art supplies in the future that comes with stickers like the ones in this video, use some tweezers to peel and place them! Especially very thin tweezers, those ones work the best

I also have my own cast of circus OCs that appear quite late into my story series, and my main character already ends up knowing one of them by the journey she takes in the first volume and it's halfway into the story that he tells her he works in a circus. He's a friendly, an adventure loving clown who's crazy about puzzles and talks in rhymes for the fun of it he goes by the name Jester. He also introduces her later into the series to his circus of friends Daisy a dog, Phil a giant elephant and Molly who's a dolphin.

If your markers do come out A Lil dry then put the Cap on and hold the marker by the back end and was it back and forth, the g force will pull more ink to the tip, (don't do it for too long or it might shoot ink everywere)

I think with saturated they might mean how opaque the colour is, as oposed to translucent. So you need to layer them less often to get full coverage.

What might help either the paper pulling up is making sure it’s dry before you start to go over it again! And if you don’t want to wait use a hair dryer! I’ll do a layer when I’m painting and then before I go over the top of it I will pull out the dryer and make sure it’s dry!

That is good advice and something I do with these pens. The pilling can happen with the very first stroke, even if you're not layering it over anything, but it doesn't really bother me much 😊

I love your character designs! I don't usually like the clown/circus aesthetic but they came out so cute and colorful! I've always been envious of artist that could use different colors for highlights and shadows and I think you did it well! I've been seeing these markers advertised alot of their social media and I want them so badly but I just bought a small set of acrylic markers from a different brand so I guess these will have to wait until I can justify getting more😭😂

Maybe a silly question, I have an old inky illustration style, and ive been wanting to incorporate more color. I love the vibrancy of your art and the colors you have on hand If I were to use these markers could I write over it? Would it come out muddy? Is the texture....obstructive? I don't know how to say it.

The texture these pens leave behind is, for the most part, smooth. And I believe most ink pens should work well over them, I've used some coloured fineliners to line some pictures with these pens and theyve worked really well together, they all dry perfectly with so far no smudging. I hope this answers your question 😁😁

with acrylic markers do you have to store them horizontally like alcohol markers or can they be stored normally vertical?

You know what you could do? It might give a super relaxing vibe if you talk a just a little, then stop and turn the music up slightly, then talk, and so on, throughout the video. I'm thinking that could be a really good way to sort of space out the talking, so you don't feel like you have to talk the entire time. Like say something, then music, then say something etc. Loved the drawings and commentary, this is actually the first time I see someone use ARRTX and they look better than I thougt they would.
