Don't overthink it. Look at different comedians (black comedy, observational comedy...) and see if you find a style that resonates with you. Finding a form is half the battle. Once you find a style you can work with, dive in. Also, find the words. Whether humor succeeds relies a lot on finding the right words. But mostly: do not hesitate when you want to make a witty observation. Make it. People will respond strange, but if you persist, you will succeed. Humor is one of the most subjective things in the world and eveyone has a different taste. Therefore, you need to become comfortable with your brand of humor.

Something to note and think about, Mozart did not start as the great creative person we know him as today, most of his early work was heavily influenced by other composers at first, but later he found his own thing. Sometimes it can be hard to be creative when you just started something, there is no shame in learning how to be creative through others work. Finding your own way to express your creativity can take time, so take take it step by step.

see, the only problem with this sentiment is that it's ignoring the people who say 'that', but are also sucessful/productive. I mean, the real answer is a bit complicated, but you understand what I mean. It seems like some people only have this grudge againts people who says video games are a waste of time only because they want to justify their bad habit. So both sides have their faults in their beliefs
@mr.duck1248
@mr.duck1248 2 жыл бұрын
@@imkaynosnihh2679 yeah I agree. It was mostly a blanket statement/joke/ observation. I was just comparing that you have to make choices and sometimes exercise your brain while playing a video game, and that usually isn’t the case for watching tv. Of course this doesn’t define the success/lifestyle of the individual, it’s just comparing the two acts on their own :) Great point tho!

I think I have a need for cognition. It seems like my main interests change every single day. They’re usually science related, but they vary. A lot. Also, sometimes it seems like the only memories I actually remember are ones where I learned something new. Especially when I would learn new words. Now every time I use that word, the memory of me discovering it pops into my head.

I mean, IQ is just a measurement of the potential of learning. As somebody with a higher than average, but by no mean high, IQ, I often felt alone because I was unable to connect intellectually with other kids my age. Time spent with other people was usually limited to talking to my teachers. I've always loved learning, and I still have that desire to learn new things all the time... but I learned to live a life by myself. It is one thing to have a great idea, and it is another to have a great idea that you can share with others. Even if your idea ends up being not so great, it can lay a foundation of inspiration for future ideas and work. Whatever you do in life, the best thing you can do for yourself is to always stay curious!

I think video games can help with creative thinking because it puts the mind in a completely different environment than our regular everyday life with different constraints, stimulus and responses and this allows for novel experimentation and problem solving scenarios. However just like anything, there is a limit where spending too much time on them yields diminishing returns in sparking creativity (e.g. spending 8 hours straight playing minecraft or call of duty). At that point to the mind it also becomes another mundane, mindless activity just like folding laundry and probably even stifles creativity. Using them for enjoyment is one thing, but to use them as a tool for growth I think the best way to do it would be playing a wide variety of different types of games for short periods of time each, 2 hours max.

Start having a growth mindset helped me a lot since early this year. I've decided to learn how to code and it was really hard on the beginning, and it stills very hard! But I know that step by step I'm becoming better then I was yesterday, many subjects I thought it were complicated back then, now they're easy and crystal clear to me! So, don't give up, you can improve yourself even if it's little by little!

Ask your mom why she isn't happier and more successful everyday. You only want the best for her. Because you're going to move away as soon as you can and never talk to her again. It will give you peace of mind. Now watch her get confused, angry, and resentful. Then you can whisper in her ear "Who has the power now?"

Seems a super cherry picked study for the first one. Some of the most brilliant mathematicians and scientists all have very high IQ. Albert Einstein's was probably around 160, Elon Musk's is around 155, Steven Hawkings is believed to have an IQ around 160, people estimate Isaac Newton's IQ would have been around 190, Mark Zuckerberg has an IQ of 155, Nikola Tesla's IQ is estimated around 160, etc etc etc etc.
