Eh I don't know if hierachy is the right word. Depends on who has the authority and the circumstances. I don't care for actors/musicians on political matters, I just see them as people and pitty how they can no longer just be "people." I think we just care about results. It doesn't matter if its an authority or a underling, as long as the statement is real, right, and true. Maybe if the room had a junkie in the corner, maybe we would talk as you can only know their character after meeting them. Maybe we would ignore them and invest our time on people we know "we don't have to save." I've randomly meet some people, and they don't seem terribly moved to save themselves, so I'm not terribly convinced to sacrifice parts of my world to save theirs. In a sense we do have a priority on who will help us and who will drag us down. Not to say all your friends will drag you down, its just that they exist, so you must as soft as a dove, and as wise as a serpent. We keep to our hole, so when we do make new friends, we must choose correctly.

I’ve been told i always dislike people i don’t know. I never really noticed, until i realized i am extremely quiet and reserved when it comes to people i am unfamiliar with, and am quick to always avoid conversations with strangers and always go to someone i am familiar with. But even people i hold strong bonds with, i never tell them any business about my life whatsoever, such as the seriousness of my addiction, one of the most important people in my life passing away, my eating disorder, and overall everything that goes on that they don’t see themselves or hear from others. I don’t know why i am this way, i took a 16 personalities test, got ISTP-T. And this video kind is oddly weird in how factual it is, as i am not a religious person, believer of the paranormal, coincidental, astrology, or directly defining particular personalities in humans, but this is pretty alright. I am, however, completely uninterested in anything that i do not deem worthy of my time. School, i do not care whatsoever about it. The only thing i am truly interested in and fully devote myself to is hockey. The human psyche is quite fascinating.

I don't want to be an ISTP, yet it matches me so much. Oh no. Edit: retool the test and found out I am an infp, which is almost an exact description of who I am.
@hanazilinska44994 жыл бұрын
Maybe you could try personality tests on Truity or 16 personalities to be sure. Maybe you aren't ISTP.
@EpicBananaGlasses4 жыл бұрын
I took it again and got one that is 1000% better, INFP. My friend had the same problem, got ISTP, then INFP. INFP people are pretty rare (not the rarest at all) while ISTP is actually way more common, so that may be the issue
@hanazilinska44994 жыл бұрын
@@EpicBananaGlasses Nice, I am glad you are happy with your results. It helped me to accept myself when I found out my real personality and I read about strong and week points of it. I am exactly between ISTP and INTP - S 51% and N 49% :D Many get results that are not true first time, that is why it's good to take the tests at least 3 times. And then compare what personality came as a result most of the time.

I have trouble expressing my emotions cause I barely understand them. I'm right now writing about something I can't even comprehend to the maximum extent. In short, I don't feel like my values, my principles, and in general my sentiments and emotions are as clear as they should be. I often try to figure out how I should feel by guessing how other types may be feeling but I quickly realise it's pointless as it's obviously impossibe to know what other people are thinking (even tho some people can get to a similar understanding of another people's thoughts if they are empathics enough). Sometimes, I feel like I do have emotions like other people but they are just suppressed for the most part. Sometimes, I feel like my soul isn't really fully connected to my body, like I have this spirit wondering many things like figuring out human emotions better and that control a lifeless body. All that i'm writing right now are mostly suppositions about what's going on in my tiny ass brain that can't figure out "simple" things. I'm not sure of anything, except the fact that I'm sure that I'm not sure about anything... I'm writing all this primarly not to hurt anyone's eyes (sorry about that messy paragraph) but to try and relate to another ISTP like me.

The most annoying things to me is when people want to change something based on their feelings. Today, cancel culture and this whole "being offended" thing is freaking me out, because all this is based on someones feeling and they want me to act a certain way because of their feelings even though it doesnt make any sense to me. Its difficult to talk about this whole gender identity thing rationally, because someone is labelling me as homophobic and transphobic just because i try to think logically and realistic. Those people can really make me rage...
@TarzanHedgepeth Жыл бұрын
Indeed. It’s retarded out there. Just remember to keep your cool. Self-control is paramount… and we’re not really living up to our standards of self-control if we’re not controlling ourselves. It’s not easy. I get the rage… because you feel like the only sane person around because you can’t stand all the foo-foo gaslighting and emotional manipulation, but you also can’t stand the self-righteous hypocrites. It’s like observing a bunch of crazy people. All the time. Just pick up an instrument or keep learning something else. Help the people God tosses in your path, let everyone else’s business remain their own - it isn’t likely that there is much you can do about that stuff except find every conceivable way to stay away from it when possible.

Does anyone have advice for how to handle too much Fe? I'm at a stage in my life where I know I need to get more balanced with my Fe. I have ptsd, and ptsd does not heal if you do not open up and accept help and process emotions. I hate all of the above so damn much, but if I choose not to recover I'd might as well save time by just going and dying faster. I don't plan to do that, so all that's left is to suck it up and put in the work. I do value people, I'm not as stubborn as I used to be. I see value in people's feelings and don't reject emotional arguments like I used to. But now I find myself overwhelmed by the demands of the Fe world and I compulsively overshare so that others are happy with me, and then I feel like I've violated myself after. The solution is to stop, but I cannot find the right balance between my boundaries and meeting the needs of others. It causes me to feel gripped and I have mood swings that violate me further. I want my independence back without being seen as a f*ckhead. I know I likely need to go out and get more experience, and live more life and be clumsy until I learn, but this has been an issue for years now and I'm just not sure if I'm focusing on the right area to balance this out. It's exhausting, when I'm alone I have meltdowns from the stress of it and I cannot comfort myself consistently. It burns to ask for help and help doesn't tend to console me either. Basically just years of silent screaming with a straight face. I've just gotten better at helping everyone else and punching holes in my own foundation because I don't want to be like the people who made me like this.

Not even gonna lie, solitary confinement sounds amazing. P.S. yes, school was like that for me. 1 question I ALWAYS asked my teacher was; how am I going to use this in real life? If the answer was, you probably won't, I usually got a D in that class because I stopped caring and just did enough to pass. Loved choir because I sing on a daily basis. I enjoyed English classes because I liked to learn to speak eloquently. Loved my computer classes because I'm a computer junkie and I enjoyed biology and botony because I liked to grow plants to eat. Hated algebra, but loved geometry because I can use Geometric concepts to build stuff but algebraic formulas were too theoretical for me. If I can't use it, why bother learning it?

I took special classes on recognizing feelings. Made it easier for me to understand people's behavior when they do not follow logic or whim. But I still keep saying things that are not always appropriate. Like stating facts that people find offensive though they are accurate. I cannot apply the tactics like " would this offend me" because nothing really offends me. Things are either facts which I will not feel offended by because this Is reality or opinions which I do not feel I need to care for enough to be offended.
