Wow, that’s crazy! For many reasons. I suppose it shows how different cultures can be, given that a game that seems so bizarre and terrible to us in the West would be so popular in Saudi Arabia. That said, my first thought wasn’t, _‘How could people actually_ like _this game?’_ It was, _‘How did so many copies of a licensed game that was only officially released and marketed in Japan make their way to Saudi Arabia in the first place?’_ Well, I’m glad you all enjoyed it, anyways. I am curious what about the game is so appealing to Saudis, though.

@@lydiajulianprower8356 Oh yeah. The ATHF PS2 game Ninja Zombie Pro Am. I remember the show, good show. It was only 15 minutes, made like it was for stoners, even though when it came out, I wasn't old enough to know what that meant, but I thought the show was hilarious, and I still love the theme song to this day. But South Park, ATHF was most certainly not. And, South Park will always be close to my heart, both as a show and the recent games, like The Stick Of Truth and The Fractured, But Whole. But it's not like ATHF isn't still fondly remembered. But only had one game though. Probably for the best. I wouldn't be sure how to make a 2nd or 3rd game for the ATHF crew. Maybe an RPG, or a side scrolling beat 'em up? Who knows, if they can give us 2 hilariously epic and faithful South Park games, I think ANY licensed show can make and have an amazing game experience.

6:50 (ish) Sad Fact: Pimp my Ride was a terrible show, all of the “features” they put into cars were only designed to work the once on camera and most likely wouldn’t be road legal regardless. That and the fact that they did nothing to improve the functionality of the car, often making things worse, they would leave the contestants aka victims to have to pay hundreds if not thousands to repair damages, take out the junk put in and overall get the car working/road legal again or they would just have to get a new car with the same amount of money, if not more.

reishiki Not really, they do minimalistic things like paint jobs, clearing clutter or giving advice from a “seasoned” professional, whatever they can work out deals for so it’s free or at least cost effective, they do clever stuff like holding a charity/community event that not only features the business but the show itself for publicity and tax write off for charity stuff, just dramatize stores and what not going about their business or it’s all just faked. To summarize, it’s either doing what they can for cheap as possible, just film a business or entrepreneurs who start acting all camp and chew the scenery or it’s all faked. Pimp my Ride lied to people taking part and left them with a car that at best wasn’t road legal anymore, but mostly like didn’t work at all.

But some shows, are just about renovating and selling them on, perfectly road legal, done mostly with classic cars. Shows like Pimp my Ride and Sin City Motors don't really seem like viable vehicles anymore, even if they can sometimes look cool. But shows like Wheeler Dealers are just about renovation, nothing else.

The McDonald's one doesn't, not to me. The thing with it is that it's meant as a visualization of McDonald's land, IE the fictional setting where the mascot and his dozen or so friends(like Hamburgler and Fry guy) live. Yes, really, McDonald's actually wrote their own fictional universe for their mascots. It's all just meant to amuse children though and not be taken seriously... by anyone.

Only thing I'm interested in is "Jane's evil laboratory" the video game. Where in the basement of the studios, Jane makes horrifying creatures with which to take over the world! One day, a bunch of the rejects get loose and cause mayhem! You play as James, getting things under control. And saving everyone else. For example: Ellen has been captured and wrapped up in silk by giant spiders. Save her, before she panics to death. Fun for the whole family.

I am shocked there was not a mention of the GTA style Simpsons game for Xbox called Simpsons Hit and Run. It was actually pretty fun when I was a kid.

Cool Spot, Zool, Mick and Mack: Global Gladiators, Pushover...my childhood was full of tie in games and they surprising weren't all terrible. Those 4 alone were a lot of fun.

You can say what you want about the KFC game all you want but when you make a game crazy enough that KZbinrs will play it just to see how crazy it is, and probably end up with lots of views, you have to admit it's a pretty smart marketing strategy.

You guys forgot about the game Darkened Skye, this one is a tricky one because on the outside it looks like a generic third-person action platformer with RPG elements, but it's actually one giant Skittles commercial where your spells and abilities are fueled by differently colored Skittles.

Oh man, you guys should've included Darkened Skye. It's a gamecube era commercial for skittles that, when the creative team was asked what they should be doing they were told "yeah, just do whatever." So they did. Hard. And it was actually kinda awesome.

I actually played that McDonald's game around its release. It was surprisingly pretty fun. I also played some of those "Cool Spot"/7-Up video games around that time too and enjoyed those as well!
