Yes, for me too. 100k is the goal. After 7 years of KZbin I have one video now, that will reach the 100k, at the moment it is on 92k. I don't think, that I will manage to create another one reaching this goal. But that is fine. If I can reach it one time, it's ok for me.

Hey man, I watched the intro on your latest vid. I do a bit of gaming myself and watch a few channels for the associated game. My recommendation would be to check out channels like @Splattercatgaming and @LetsGameItOut. I really love how they have a theme, a niche and a plan that they explain in the first 5 to 10 secs. If you can take from what they do and make it your own, I think you could get a lot of W's.

I got my first 500 quickly but the second set was a struggle. (Don't say because in X amount of time I got Y number of subscribers because that trajectory thing can demoralize you.) However, when I got to 830+ it was a breeze to 1k. Now I passed 1k I'm at 1197 quite quickly. Won't know if I'll get to this 500 quickly and then have to sit around to get to 2k 😅. What's going to frustrate you is to wake up one day and have 587 subs and by the end of the day you're back down to 578. Don't give up when things like that happen. It happens to VidIQ too 😊 (it was apparent on their live to 2M subs). I don't celebrate my milestone numbers until I have 10 - 15 over the number for say a week. Therefore, I didn't celebrate my 1k until I had 1015. My channel is 7 months old. Hope this helps. Keep on keeping 🎉

Right now, a "viral" number of views is over 2k in the first week. However, I'm going to say that an _actual_ viral video for me isn't _just_ the 2k+ views, but also when that video gets at least 30% retention rate. On a related note, I really wish that KZbin separated out new viewers from returning viewers in their retention graph. Doing so would help me figure out what's working with my actual audience compared to people who have just come across my channel/video who aren't necessarily my targeted audience.

I would consider anywhere over 10k views viral and that’s probably where most people consider viral anyways but I always tend to ignore the amount of views that I get because that’s not really what matters. All I care is that I’m passionate about my KZbin career and trying to make my content better. I genuinely enjoy making content for my viewers because it gives me something to do when I’m bored. I even take breaks too when I need them.

For me “viral” was when I had a short wrack up 31K views in a few hours. No idea why it hit so big. My most viewed video though was one I posted in Feb ‘23 that just shot up in June of this year. That one has about 37K views. On TikTok though I had a vid get over 147K until it was shadow banned for “sensitive content.” It was my sister reacting to the saw scene in the first Terrifier movie. I don’t show any blood or gore but someone complained and now it doesn’t get any views.
