Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake in central Nepal. It is known as the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a famous hiking trail in the Himalayas. The Tal Barahi temple is a two-story pagoda built on an island in the middle of the lake. On the eastern bank is the district w.p.

It's not the gateway of Annapurna Circuit but Annapurna Base Camp and other short treks in the region. Annapurna Circuit starts from Lamjung... Goes through Manang,Thorong-la, Mustang and ends with the road trip in Pokhara. From Pokhara you can hike to various places like : Mardi, Khopra, Kapuche,Poon Hill and such similar short treks.

Went there in March 2022, and left with a whole lot of memories of meeting some cool folks, listening to a lot of awesome live music, a lot of beer, late night lakeside strolls, epic Annapurna views, quiet quaint cafés. Everything that anyone ever wanted for a chill weekend! Loved it so much 😍😍😍 And btw Nepali people are some of the purest and the best hearted people I’ve met in all my travels. Nepalese Cuisine Tip: In Nepal it is believed that, after eating daal bhat, no one should feel hungry for the rest of the day. So you can always ask for additional extra food while eating daal bhat. They will refill all items in your plate except meat items (you can ask for gravy though) without having to pay any extra charge. You can eat as much as you want until you are full and satisfied. Daal bhat is a staple food in Nepal and are eaten to completely quench the hunger. There is a famous proverb in Nepal, "daal bhat power 24 hour."

We Nepalese have been eating it since our childhood and we tend to definitely hold the hunger for atleast 5-6 hrs when eaten full stomach. By the way, I was just giving the cuisine tips and you, "the frustrated nutrition expert" randomly hop around with diabetes, cholestrol and bullshits. Are you not getting what I was trying to convey or you've a habit of bullshitting around?

@@AB-nc6gc LOL Rice is very good for health. Those diabetes and high bp you are talking must be from the rice from city areas or from the rice with unhealthy mixtures. Here in my village everybody eat a lot of rice morning day and night and no disease and full healthy. It's all about the exercise, diet and the quality of food.

$200 a night is a steal for that terrace alone ! Room looks pretty modern to, only thing it had missing was a little Infinity pool on that terrace, couldn't have asked for more though! That view alone is worth the 200 bucks

Dale did justice to Dal Bhat the way he ate it. That's the proper Nepali way to eat it. And yes with hands. Thumbs up for that.

14:37 Too bad time to come to Pokhara (the most raining city of Nepal) as its raining just like the UK. Pokhreli don't wear masks hope u will love it there. In your Kathmandu vlog, you mentioned few people wearing masks, its not the fear of the virus but due to the dusts

Dale you always present us wonderful vlogs. I waits for your vlog be posted. Nepal is a naturally beautiful country on the bed of Himalaya. The book which you found inside hotel room, which is written as 'As it is', it's Bhagavat Gita, the holy book of Hinduism just like Bible for Christianity. It's just awesome to watch you eating meal with your hand. Waiting for your next vlog bro.
