70 Plymouth Duster Commercial

I wish people would quite re-posting these labelled as a "commercial". This is the 1970 Dealer Demonstration film with the announcers soundrtrack stripped and some time-period music in it's place. The original soundtrack would be just an announcer pontificating on the new features and whatnot of the new Duster. This was never used or intended to be a TV commercial.

I think this would all make more sense if the camera would just back out and show 'The Duel' truck that he's trying to get away from. *reference to the 1971 movie for those who don't get it.

Plymouth Duster does share the platform with Plymouth Valient compact car. From 1970 to 1976, Plymouth Duster only came with 2 door sedan with pop out rear windows. Plymouth Valient was available from 1960 to 1976, later it became Plymouth Volare from 1976 to 1980.

Plymouth Duster, in 1970 was my first new car 48 years ago. Today a BMW Electric. My how far automobile engineering has come.
