It doesn't switch to stage 4 if engine is not running already If you stop in stage 3 with engine off you have to press the pedal to start the engine and then will do idle check and only after that will go in stage 4 I use hybrid assistant to see exactly when I need to stop

The heated seats should be standard equipment on every Toyota hybrid. They're instant & effective heating 'ersatz' for first few kilometers.

Heated seats and steering wheel, yes.

Top Video! Is it possible, to do it on a Prius IV too?
@gerbre15 жыл бұрын
I already made some P4 videos: kzbin.info/aero/PLOMHyFvP_bshe2rpY7bAneMwd72LuY4Si However with Hybrid Assistant App showing fewer data not with Torque Pro. But this should be possible as well.
@gerbre15 жыл бұрын
I looked closer into the details. Torque Pro allows to add predefined PID sets for Prius II, Prius III and Prius III plugin. No support for Prius IV yet and I did not find any published PID sets in the web. However there is a similar OBD app called OBDLink which seems to support the Prius IV. The following video shows the known PIDs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGnCYWipqK12qas . Hope this helps.

Meanwhile I can confirm it's possible to log and display car data of a Prius IV on a smartphone.You need an OBDLink adapter like OBDLink LX for Android and the OBDLink app with an extra Toyota extension pack for 9,99€. I managed to configure a Prius IV profile and tested it sucessfully with a Toyota C-HR (no Prius was available at the dealer).

Great video! Heating in 2nd gen is realy bad for first 5km. There should be eco heating mode that fan is switched on only when coolant temp is above 70 C°. 3rd gen don't have this problem.
@gerbre16 жыл бұрын
Yes, in the following Prius generations the heat-up phase was improved. However when comparing gen2 and gen3 Prius in fuel consumption the two are quite close together. Only gen4 stands out.
@19inferno846 жыл бұрын
@@gerbre1 i agree, gen3 has better highway fuel consumption becouse of 1.8l engine with greater torque

Hi, how you monitoring that measurements what is on left side of the screen? Some app or?
@gerbre15 жыл бұрын
You can record the car data with Torque Pro which produces a log file. You can then import that file together with the video into RaceRenderer 3 Ultimate and generate a new video with the overlays on the left side of the video. For most drivers it's sufficient to let Torque Pro run on the smartphone during the drive which also shows the car data.
