Deadmans Dmg can be priced like AD. To calculate the cost effectivness its more like a on-hit dmg effect and those are much cheaper then AD cause they dont scale with crit and spells.

Hey =) Great video! You mentioned building hollow radiance in every game and against AD matchups bami's first and then dead mans. Would you still build hollow radiance for the waveclear (or some other reason?) even against a full AD team? Or would you turn the bamis into a sunfire? Or would you even build bamis and maybe go for something else, like a chain vest + tiamat (into titanic)? This is very specific and nitpicky, but I notice you didn't mention such a situation in the video.

Petu usually builds it when the enemy has a 1 AP, 4 AD comp (Usually against Evelynn from his past videos) so that he does not have to waste gold on more MR and can focus on building Armor.

Have you tried Experimental Hexplate as a third item? I think the movement speed it grants is really underrated. I find when I ult, the enemy team just runs away and it's hard to follow up unless I have DMP and Experimental Hexplate. The ultimate haste is also ok, but the attack speed feels like a wasted stat.

Hey Petu i have been slowly climbing to masters this season with your trusty videos always by my side! I didn't like titanic playstyle and have been going bami into frozen gauntlet almost every game. Reason being that it's cheap, sheen passive, every stat you want and the slow allows you to dictate fights and get more q dragthroughs. I then build sundered if into a lot of melee champs or steraks if vs more ranged/cc. I usually only finish hollow if i need mr or if i am behind. I did always like deadmans though, i will see where i can fit it in. I know it's a bit more selfish build but what do you think of it?

Sounds like a solid build. I think Iceborn and Deadmans compete for the same item slot, choose the one you find better for you.

Dead Man's Plate is what I use in almost all situations. The speed is too good, it's 2 runes put together - important ones I might add. Have been doing Tank T.F. support for a while. I was picking up the Feather Boots for Slow Resistance - too many Sennas & Ashes for my liking & so on. Either stun/slow duration reduction through Tenacity Boots or best if you just get Greaves for Dewarding & for proccing your passive more. Whilst Dead Man's Plate just buffs you on offence & defence too! Feels too good to not get it 2nd or 3rd.

You should also take into account the availability of stats. Move speed can only really be gained from boots. And then certain mages and adcs can get items with percent movespeed. it's a really hard stat to get, especially FLAT move speed. If you're basing your gold efficiency calculation on a component only certain builds can take, or boots which you can only get 1 of, it skews the results.

Would you also go for ignite and flash for toplane matchups? Mid gives you so much freem do roam the map but I think that in top you got really punished for picking ignite. You literally need to guarentee to stomp your lane otherwise the enemy champion will simply gain gold advantage taking your tower when you ult

I KNEW IT, ice gaunt. was nice but dead mans ia way better for shen, having a mini ghost always active it'a huge for a champ like Shen and usually you taunt with your team, very hard to not get a kill in that case, you really don't care about solo slows to do 1v1 and in team it's overkill, yes the AH on ice gaunt. is nice but you still got what you need to do stuff, this build (First 3 items, boots and the other two) gives everything shen needs: wavecelar, hp, ar, mr, ah, ms And i live the 4 item option, you can pick the supportive one or the "i need make a big play so the shield and tenacity will help", also good if you have a bounty, overall, 10/10!

No one plays full AD teams - you're probably winning that match no matter what you build. I would still consider Hollow over Sunfire if enemys have any source of magic damage. Sunfire is very bad compared to Hollow.

I’ve been playing Shen jungle recently and my build is just this exact path. Hollow Radiance Dead Man’s Iceborn Gauntlet My runes always have Ultimate Hunter but I’ve been messing with some weiiiird stuff like Fleet Footwork to stick to people.
