For a tournament format a time limit with this game is necessary. From what I’ve seen from some of Lotus Asakura’s videos people rely on time outs a bit too much. It would hold up the tournament so to make sure the tournament is running efficiently a cap on the time limit is a must.

I really don’t think the Budokai games and it’s spiritual successor are meant to be showcased as a competitive fighter on a tournament scene That’s what DBFZ is for. Where the devs made that game with the intention of making it balanced: i.e. lore accurate power levels…out the window. Characters like Krillin, Yamcha, Tien don’t have to ‘stall’ or run away and attempt to win by timeouts. They are allowed to fight on an even playing field and possibly dish out a proper ass whooping if the player using them is good with them.

How do people look at this gameplay and think it's fine? You guys have no idea how bad Super Counters and Z Counter wars are. They literally ruin the flow of combat. You're never rewarded for getting in on your opponent/they're never punished for making mistakes because they can easily get out of being combo'd for free any time using Super Counters.

Super counters are a massive L They can either remove it because revenge counter exists and makes way more sense. Nerf the ability to mash it out. Or make it to so you can’t super counter if you’re getting hit from behind ( which was how I thought the game was supposed to work ) I thought the only way to get true combos was to attack somebody from behind but no super counter just completely removals almost all combo and neutral depth and we end up with this 5:47 for every single game until somebody gets sparking or dies

@@damondriver6363 Prime example in this video, Dom switched characters even after DOMINATING with Broly, Goku, and Vegeta. he then proceeds to lose the next game 😂 At the highest level of fighting games, it’s a flex to be able to win with different characters, because it’s hard to do. All i’m saying is, as a viewer, the more characters the merrier, and it shows skill for the player.
