Check automatic compression release on cam they are notorious for problems

Wonder if the gear on the clutch basket it self is rocking back and forth. Causing that noise and for the gasket on the valve cover if you do get a cheaper on take and use copper gasket spray let it start to tack up befor installing it do not use rtv you will end up clogging one of the oil passages the copper gasket spat is a great product

Yeah I was thinking about Honda bond in the gasket, but I think it’s metal so that copper spray should work good, I’ll try that

1 size ur on pilot 3 size up on main Middle or 3rd clip needle Done🏁 With slip on/ open box

Ive had ZERO luck with china CDI and when jetting makes no difference ITS DEFINITELY THE CDI

Parts are hard to get for the can am. Honda still makes a lot of oem for the 400ex . The Ds650 is a cool bike but One thing I didn’t like about it was everything was nut and bolt, there was no welded on nuts . So you have to have a wrench on both sides of any bolt you want to take off .
