About the turning radius, have you flipped the bushing cups? Thats step one on every Acedeck board, that way you can still tighten the trucks up for stability but still get good turning.

Thanks for the review! I’m thinking of getting this, is the stuff deck uncomfortable? On street wheels specifically? And also all terrain wheels?

Hey man, thanks for the review. I have a nomad 1 also, just got it, and I also had the control vibrate and tell me the current was not keeping up. On my board/control the board did not stop on me, it just vibrated. Do you think I should reach out to Acedeck? Also, was it difficult replacing the ESC? Thank you!

If it's an over current problem, then yes. But if it's a 25% battery left vibration, that's normal. It was a long process to replace since there's so many screws. It was hard to replug the wire through the thick water proof rubber, which I had to rip a little to poke it through. Overall, it was mostly plug and play so it wasn't too difficult

On my nomad n1 I was able to hit 18.5 miles of range with aggressive riding and aggressive carving in S+ mode I haven’t tested range in any other mode yet I only ride aggressive I got 300+ miles so far running the 90A Samsung 40T gear drive configuration. Nice video 🔥🔥🔥

Ah you have the samsung one which adds about 5-6 more miles which makes sense. I got the cheaper one cause i couldnt justify the extra $200 for 5-6 miles.

I was wondering how carving is on this board. Im a versatile rider I like a little of everything as far as speed and carving. Someone was saying this board is more for speed enthusiasts do you mind prividing your thoughts and your riding style? TIA

@saucedmyself any board can carve. It depends on the bushings. I can carve with this board no problem but my experience with skateboards are limited since this is the only board I ride.

I'm legit debating on buying this with the Samsung 50s. Or The M Board interstellar. I want a super powerful board that also is comfortable and has range. But I'm in a rock & a hard place making this decision. I currently have a meepo voyager as my primary. Love the board 🛹 but I can't keep up with the group anymore miles wise lol

You’re probably better off getting the interstellar for higher quality vesc and customizing the settings is a huge plus once you figure how to use vesc app

i fix these devices for a living. my honest review is that they are flawed products and the ESC will repeatedly fail. Eventually your battery will have voltage sag issues or a BMS fault. These products are not made to a high standard. Doesnt matter which brand, or model you pick. You will never get thousands of miles without multiple ESC failures and potential battery fires. Chinese manufactured PEV's are quite awful in this current era.

As long as it can last 1000 charging cycles, I'd be fine with that. Its approximately 3 years for me so replacing a product like this every 3 years is fine for me. hopefully the ESC can last just as long as the battery. I don't over charge the battery since i have a smart switch that turns off after a certain amount of hours. I already min max the charge time i need for the battery to remain plugged. Most battery fires start with over charging or charging right after a heavy ride both of which i don't do. But anything can happen and hopefully, im just hoping it doesnt happen to me

@fitnesssushi9380 heres a charging tip. If you charge to 100% you will get less than 500 charge cycles. Which is roughly a year for most riders. If you charge from 40-90% you will get over 2000 charge cycles on average

My charging plan is once every other day to 100%. Sometimes once every two days. I don't charge every day since I don't need to. I use it to commute to work so i'm not riding it to zero battery life every day. I also try not to leave it over night at 100% charge. I usually charge it right before i ride so to avoid that 100% charge pressure on the battery

A couple of questions: How can you tell your charging is at 90% other than from your experience and guesstimate the time on it? How much life or mileage would you expect the boards to be? Now if you say 500 charge cycles (say 20 miles range) gives you 10k miles and that’s a lot (at least to me) 😎 My little background on eSK8 is that I’ve collected a few boards from about 5 years ago and currently have 4 boards running and one in a coma! The longest running board is a better performance budget board that has had no problems and still running really well now over 3000km (say 1800miles). Luckily it’s still with everything stock (including the belts) though wheels are replaced. Its range is about 18 miles, particularly the same from being new. It’s over 3 years old and mathematically it has just about 100 charges since. Even though I do a lot more riding now, but my estimation is that it will take me another 5 years to get to its 500 charges. That is a long time and a lot of riding! 😊 Definitely very good ROI and lots of smiles!

@@yeeieio You can calculate the amount of time it needs to take to charge to 90% by charging from your typical time to charge and time how long it takes to 100%.. then take 90% of that time every time you charge and you'll get 90% charge. Use a smart switch to switch off every time at that time. My typical ROI in terms of mileage is how much you would save on gas per mile vs. buying a car and using that to drive around. So i guesstimated about 3000 miles of riding would recoup the cost of gas for the board itself. SO basically after 3000 miles, it'll equate to the amount of money spent on gas alone.
