Big facts!! I wore this album out...i didnt get Star till a few years after it came out. Motown dropped the ball cuz that album is phenomenal! But the 2nd album is still my favorite. This video was definitely TLC influence. I loved how the 90s and 2000s had their own Renaissance of black girl groups. It was beautiful. I also loved this video, TLC + Blaque and 702 tapped into that Y2K futuristic aesthetic we should try to do this again.

When I first heard it I thought it was a Tracie Spencer cut because it sounds so similar to her song It's All About You(Not About Me)that came out shortly before this was released. Both songs had that signature Karlin and Soulshock groove. My heart hurts because of the passing of Irish. She was such a beautiful soul. She will reunite with her twin Orish. Rest well sweetheart.
