@Young_Pistachio I'm 47, and I enjoy all my interactions with anyone of any age when it comes to theirs and my shared love of the second ammendment and all thing that go pew. I'm kind of jealous that all this cool gear wasn't available when I was younger, we got by on alice gear, some of us still do. 😃

Grove belt uses a similar magnetic latch system, and it works quite well.

If you were in a real world situation and you got hit dead center on that plate carrier, you have a lot more problems than that vest coming off. Some people are playing way too many video games 🙄 I thinks that’s a great idea, seems if the US would have come out with that system, two navy seals that fell in the water the other day might still be alive today. 🤷🏻‍♂️

8years army, most IOTVs I’ve seen have a quick detach cable assembly. But in terms of plate carriers issued to operators they’re typically not quick disconnect.

I would never trust this type of mechanism long term. It would be worse to be working through an objective and the vest malfunctioning and falling off than just using the quick detach system Michael referred to in the IOTV's.

I think this is a great option for like a second carrier,you can leave in a truck or camper/ATV to always have something set up ready to go for cheaper.

I saw this before and thought due to the price the mechanism would be cheap. Seeing this on video it clearly isnt. Ill probably be picking one up. This is a really Cool concept

It's a cool idea on the one hand but on the other, it just seems like having magnets all over my clothes could be hazardous around metallic debris. I don't need to go prone, have my magnet accidentally pick up a sharp metal fragment, and stab myself in the neck when I go to do a roll.

@TheRange7 China doesn't have the same IP rights and restrictions America and Europe have. It's more likely that different manufacturers use the same basic digital plans that they "acquired" , but it's likely they have their own processes so you get slightly varying features and quality from items that look very similar. By using already established designs they also cut a lot of R&D cost which also helps bring the price down.
