Your music stood the test of time as evidenced by people like us who still love 707 tunes. Congrats on the legacy!

I was at this show - I was a high schooler living in Colorado Springs at the time and rode up with some friends from school. Thoroughly enjoyed you guys. Didn't enjoy breaking down along I-25 on the drive back to the Springs after the show. I saw you again later on that tour opening for REO Speedwagon.

Your song “One Way Highway” is my favorite ballad of all times. The love of my life introduced me to it when it first came out. It’s an amazingly beautiful song and orchestration and….I absolutely love it! Thanks for the sweet memories 🙏❤️

Wow, this is fantastic! I saw you and 707 open for REO in Charleston, WV, in March, 1981. It was REO's tour for Hi Infidelity, by the way. Immediately went out and bought The Second Album, then the first, and both have been in my music rotation every since. Love every song on each of those albums. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, first as a musician and now as a brother in Christ.

Thanks for posting this Jim I turned a lot of people onto 707 way back when, I also noticed that the pictures of Kevin and Phil are swapped at 32 minutes. I also wondered what you thought about Casablanca as at that time they seemed to be primarily a disco label. Also for those who might not know you can still find Duke McFadden's solo album Home Again on ebay

80s rock, splashes of keyboards, big guitar solos....where did we go wrong? What happened to music?

I don't remember these guys making a dent in the New York or Philly markets. The big radio stations were WNEW and WMMR........Never heard these guys on either........Kind of a rock/pop/new wavish blending. Talented! A touch of Huey Lewis perhaps!!!

Excellent concert! If you ever want me to clean up and master the audio let me know, I own a studio that offers mastering and mixing services but I would do this one for free!
@SBGGCA4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the offer. But, this audio from a cassette is probably sufficient for KZbin purposes. I cannot imagine what other use there would be for it. :-)

Where did the name 707 come from?
@megazap99865 жыл бұрын
Stems from 747
@SBGGCA5 жыл бұрын
We were looking for a name. We wanted something specific that would translate to any language. So, we decided a number was good (this was before the B-52's, by the way). 707 seemed like an instantly recognizable number, so we went with it.

I ran into a burnt CD my late husband had, I think it’s the Megaforce album. But it has a song on it called Can’t Hold Back. Did you guys ever perform that live?
@SBGGCA7 ай бұрын
Regularly. It one of our opening songs when we toured with Ted Nugent.
