70MHz (4meters band) Converter to 10meters band using the Dual-Gate Mosfet BF961

70MHz (4 meters amateur radio band) Converter to 10 meters band using the Dual-Gate Mosfet BF961.
With the usage of the above circuit I suppose it's the simplest way to hear the 4 meters amateur radio band.
The Local Oscillator is a Pierce Osc. on 40.963MHz and the signal applying to G2 pin. The output LC tuned to 29MHz.
My first try was with a usage of IC NE602 and was successful but unfortunately I destroyed that ... By searching all boxes in my laboratory I found an available BF961 which finally I used successfully also.
The beacon SV1FOUR located at KM27AW and I'm located at KM18UA. Our distance is about 25 km. Also between us located the mount Hymettus but this does not seem to be a serious obstacle.
