My father bought me that exact kit with a 22” bass drum in 1977. It’s still at mum and dads place. Rogers Londoner 7. I mostly used the 13” 22” 16” and snare when gigging. I remember seeing Alex Acuna in an ad using it during weather report period. Thanks for the demo.

In my early drum days I had a Roger's Londener five...I wish I never sold it. But that's long ago must be around 20 years old. Now I am 65 years old. Time flies but I am still around that's most important 😊

I still have this kit , and it sounds just as good as any DW

I still have this kit as well. Bought it from the original owner back in 1985. Only difference is it has two 22" dbl. bass. I've added an 8", 10" and 18' floor tom since then. I also have a DW Design series kit, but I still like my Rogers kit better.

I'm a big fan of big R Rogers. Hardware was solid, and these are great sounding rock drums. I'd go so far as to say these kill Ludwig's from the same era. As always, lovely playing Noah. Bringing out the best in these big boomy drums.

I have a bop and larger kit and hundred perfect agree. The shells are just too musical at basically any tunings.

The Fullerton-era Rogers are excellent sounding drums (I own many of them!) but the Pinstripes are not doing this kit any favours.

Vintage coated emperors or Ebony emperor ‘’Suede” heads would rip as well but the pinstripes still sound awesome on this kit.

I knew a few drummers that have the 70s big R sets. They sound great!! The hardware is a deal breaker for me. Too big. Especially the kick legs. Ugly as hell. But if someone gave me that kit i would definitely use them.
