spent a lot of time pack backing that area years ago, but have never gotten to Jeep it. Still hoping someday.

You never relise how big the slabs are after gate keeper until you drive it yourself and see another Jeep on the other side and it looks like an ant lol

Thanks for the input. The Granite Bowl is pretty amazing, an excellent example of the effect of glaciers on the Sierra Nevada.

“Stock Jeep” - are you not piloting a Jeep that traversed most of the Western Hemisphere?
@Gone_Gpn2 жыл бұрын
Yep! Back in 1978 when Mark Smith and his team embarked on Expedicion de las Americas, these five CJs were bone stock with the exception of bumpers and winches. The ordered them specifically without A/C or power steering to reduce complexity and the possibility of failures. Image that, across the Americas (and the Darien Gap) with manual steering. Tough old boys they were.

Jeepers Jamboree have a bad rep in Alaska for skipping out on their debts. Mark Smith and Ken Arnold are dead beats! Ask mewhy…. Make my day!
