January is the month I decorate with snowmen. Always looking for another one to add to my collection. Hint, hint. LOL I am so taken back by how much you are able to stuff in your days. I have watched you for some time now and I would love to half of you energy. I know you have your slow days but books, knitting, crochet and work so much more in your day. I am retired and I can't get it all done. Maybe this year will be the year I work on organising my day better. Keep up the good work.

I actually liked your color work hat in white and orange. but I'm sure it will be lovely with the dark color too. That advent blanket is so lovely. I need to remember that tip to add a second color and hold it throughout the project. And yes to amigurumi crochet along! I know it's short notice, but maybe doing it during lent and folks can crochet projects to include in Easter baskets. Just a thought. Snowman! What a cutie.

HI Ali! Your hat is lovely! I like both low contrast and high contrast colorwork - it just depends on the mood I’m in. The fact that you knit the hat and were able to fit it on your head is wonderful! The floats on a lot of my early colorwork were too tight and so once done, I couldn’t fit it on my head, foot, etc. I, too, found that the heel on the Lola sock is a bit too baggy and I think it might be the five rounds between the “heel” and the “gusset decreases” which add a bit of extra fabric. Thank you, as always, for a lovely podcast.

I love the new "Wonderful" pins! The epoxy version is my fave so once you have those I shall have to place another order ;) I get a lot of comments about my 'strictly' badges and my 'oops' LDW pins too. I adore the mittens you made and hope to try perhaps a simple 2 colour colourwork hat this year. I do love the idea of the fabric scrap swap and must see if I can arrange one for this year here with some sewing peeps in Oz. Between knitting, crochet and much sewing (lol) over Christmas and New Year, I've been kept quite active! Thanks to you teaching me how to do zipper and drawstring bags, I have made dozens of them now and also some snap bags (all project bags). I even made some for 3 of my little grand-daughters as "Day Bags" that they can put all their treasures in when they go on outings. I'm getting better at making them, still a bit wonky here and there, but practise makes perfect right? lol... nah... they will always be a bit wonky in places, just like me ;) I have a few...haha... socks on the go (last year's crafty goal) and really need to knuckle down and make the 2nd sock of several lol... once I do that I will very quickly have several actual pairs of socks to wear for next Winter! I've also got knitted hat patterns lined up to make for the family for Winter which is another learning curve. Thank goodness we have crafty pursuits in these worrying times hey? Thank you so much for all you do and share, I'm sure I'm not the only one that watches it all and thorough enjoys your vlogs and podcasts... much inspiration to be had for sure. Say hi to Dan and the girls from Downunder, sending huggles across the pond xx

My granddaughter said Christmas is not over Nini it’s not snowing! ⛄️⛄️⛄️ try to explain to a 4 year old that it doesn’t snow where we live in tropical Queensland, Australia, so we make sandman’s!!! 💦💦💦 Happy New Year & I look forward to sharing your online world in 2021... hey Ali I was thinking of you as soon as I saw KristyGlassKnits on Instagram showing off how she was styling her Ziggy, it is really beautiful, go check it out as this may inspire you to get a wriggle on & your yarn colour choices are beautiful so you can stop procrastinating & make 1 square lovely (no pressure) 🤣🤣 so I was happy to see you show it this episode 🧶✅🧦happy crafting.

Wow so much work you’ve been doing 👍😊. I have to confess I watched the first advert before your started but the second one was going to be over 15 mins!!! I watched for about three minutes but then lost the will to live and just wanted to get to you 😳. It was so good to catch up with you. Thank you ❤️

The long advertisements are usually for something awful like gut health and cleanses. If I leave them running I set a timer on my watch and go fold laundry or something!

I'm making the little amis in that book too! I love it! And big congrats for winning my bag to Marie! It's actually my middle name so that's pretty apt (though I bet it's half the women in the western world's middle name too so not really that unusual :P). Hope you enjoy them!
