Party line...I remember that. I was like 4 when my folks got a private line, so I was never the one making calls. But mom and dad sure complained about picking up the phone to make a call and somebody else was on the line yakking away. And when the phone rang you never knew if it was for you or for someone else. Or in the middle of a call and somebody else picks up to call. I know it was a PITA for them. Fred is looking good. Troublemaker finished with double checkered flags and a lit up lane light.

The Mopars used Carter AFB carbs on the max wedge and Holley carbs on the A990 race hemi. It is always nice to have extra parts to add to our stashes.

Those Dodge kits usually have a lot of detail parts. The Fred is taking shape, those short stacks look cool on it. Great story, you could write a book and include the drawings.
