Wow at the beautiful scenery!!! What some great photography spots. I was in Canmore Alberta in September, what a beautiful place. I’m impressed with the two of you and your journeys !!! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, I always wanted to go there, I think I will do the helicopter option. Amazing scenery, thanks for your huge effort so we could see the area. Keep it up, I love your adventures.

Thanks so much Allan! Definitely wasn’t easy filming this for 45 miles but it is such a fun video memory for us and glad we are able to share it

Hi! Hoping to do this next year… when you say you secured permits do you mean reservations for the campsite or it something else?

We were in the High Spur area in Utah this last spring and as we got into bed we could hear a mouse rummaging around in our van (L400 Delica). It's higher off the ground than most vans, so I'm assuming it got in through an open vent. There was no way we could ignore it and simply go to sleep. We could hear it in the front of the van one moment, and then a few seconds later it would be in the back where we were trying to sleep. I tried everything to chase it out. It was younger than me, faster than me, and maybe even a little smarter. But I persisted for almost two hours and finally got him. Now we try to always pack our food away in a plastic bin with a lid.

Hope the mouse didn't chew any bear. That is the worst. Great video though. I love Banff and Jasper. I used y'all s guides for trips last and this year.

So happy to hear you used the guides for your trip, that's awesome. And thanks for sticking around. The mouse was quite a funny way to return to the car haha, still bummed about the banana bread I didn't get to house after the hike

We stayed out at Magog last Aug. The whole hike back to the parking lot I was dreaming of the peanut butter m&ms I left in the jeep. Mice destroyed the bag 😢

Oh nooo lol, so you know the pain. Hopefully that 1 hour drive out for food wasn’t too brutal for ya 😂🙏🏼

Just curious why so much weight for 3 days and not enough food. Also, I had trouble with mice in the van. Had to make sure all food was in impenetrable plastic bins. Darn wildlife!

How close in time was this hike to the couple that was killed by a grizzly?

That attack was west of Ya Ha Tinda which is quite a bit farther north from Mount Assiniboine. It was also 2 months later at the end of September.

Man, you guys are doing some great trips, I've been looking forward to your new videos, but there's just one thing. The handheld SLR is so shaky and the arm in every shot. . . Just use your phone or GoPro on a small selfie stick and it would be some much more pro, it's the only thing not pro. . . Nice work anyway though.

Thank you so much! And yes I know, all of our commercial work is filmed with stabilizers but when we’re hiking 40 miles with 25-55 pound backpacks it’s just too difficult to even fathom using a stabilizer. I also just don’t love using my GoPro really, but it is good good for thought to use the phone. Regardless I’m glad you still like the videos😁
