Looks good to me! I don’t think the negative comments are justified. This is a great solution for adding a snowblower. In some cases the engine that comes on these have more power than the tractor can provide. Plenty of 25 horse tractors that can use this setup in a 66” width.

yes I agree I don't think the negative comments come from people with experience on what it takes to throw wet snow sixty feet with a 72 inch cut.

Love that Branson 5520 tractor, looks like you got it dialed in, of course, colder snow helps.probably not what I would choose.

Looks like it got dialed in after a little tinkering. Pretty neat. Would be cool to be able to start it in the cab, but not a big deal when you have it running good. I could use one of those at my cabin.

Dad used to give my bother and I a shovel to clean that ditch. It has flooded the yard on and off for years because he couldn't get us to do it anymore. Now it's mine to take care of and I think I might have figured it out we'll see.

I would have taken that chute guard off first thing! I understand your disclaimer though. I have looked at The Bercomac fel blowers before, but decided to stick with my 3 point dinosaur (LuckNow). Thanks for posting this video.

Yes your right about the guard. I wanted to show events from scratch for viewers new to the illogical safety features the Gov and lawsuits force to happen. It was extremally easy to remove, no tools necessary, kind of makes me think it is designed obsolescence.😁 A new video of further mods will be forth coming so stay tuned.

If someone decides that its a good idea to stick their hands down the chute of a running Snowblower that to me sounds like Darwin in action

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of that solution, much rather use the HP disposable on the tractor itself. That one bogs down easier too as it is hard to listen to the rpm on the external engine. Nice Branson 5520 tho. I use an MK Martin pull type snowblower and it works really good for my use, but you might have drifting conditions deeming a front blower more necessary?

yes drifting is bad here, if I have to, I can take out an 8ft drift.

I would turn the wire guard facing out and not in, also lubricate the inside of chute and blower housing with some type of spray oil, even pam spray or canola oil spray will work,, keep chute upward when hitting very wet snow

That Pam spray sounds like good idea! I even want to remove the cross piece that's left, It's a long way down that spout to clear snow. At first I bent those fingers forward and still couldn't get at the plugged snow!

Spray 3 in 1 silicone spray on the inside of the blower housing and chute. It will help with the snow sticking.

Why wouldn't a person buy a tractor with front pto shaft? Who needs another engine to maintain!!

Not enough power. If there was any snow on the ground, that wouldn’t do

In all fairness my skill is not up to par. First time for me and this machine in very wet snow! The ditch I blow out in the end of the video has got 4 foot of snow in it. I stepped off later how far it threw that wet snow and it was a good 50 feet, So I am pretty happy with it, Thanks for the comment,
