72 Nova Drag Build - The Tube Chassis, 1/25 scale (Part 2)

I start building the chassis and front suspension, I did a lot of figuring on paper to decide how and what the chassis will look like, as well as making it up as I go.

Little similar to how I scratch build tube chassis asphalt and dirt track latemodel chassis and also the old school 90s asphalt latemodel chassis which is a moded Camaro front frame clip rest is tube under sling non coil over springs and shocks on all 4 corners and I have left-hander chassis number four the fourth Chassi they ever built for left-hander oval track asphalt racing chassis

I don't have to stretch it at all, it fits in beautiful, that's the way I made it, so I don't have to stretch the body, I'll show you and answer that question in the next video for you and everyone else.

The roll cage I used 2mm round tube, The back half of frame I used 2mm square rod, Front frame I used 3mm round rod, The floor I used 1mm sheet, The firewall I used .5mm Sheet. Thank you for being a subscriber, hope this helps you out.

Yes sir I have, I also took drafting and machine shop in school, and I also restore and build custom cars, and did a lot of construction with my dad when I was done school. Ty for watching.

What size styrene rod and tubing are you using in mm

The main frame was 2mm square rod, the roll cage was 2.5mm rod and I used a few 3mm rod for a few things
