I know this is an older video, but watching this again to help me get excited for spring. Definitely did the trick. Very nice planter you have.

Thanks. I guess it does the job alright. I have a couple sensors to swap out sometime. It's still in the far corner of the shed

could you do a video explaining the control box for the planter? I just bought one and it doesn't have the stickers explaining it.

Are you asking about the black box with just a couple buttons? I don't have that planter anymore but maybe I can walk you through it. The left rocker button is transmission disconnect so you can turn off half the planter like in point rows. Down disconnects the left half of the planter and up disconnects the right half. With that rocker in the middle both halves are planting. The right button is for folding. So to go from transport to field position you would need to lower it to the ground with the hydraulic lever and the 3 point at the same time, unlatch the wheels on the wings, then raise it back up with the hydraulic lever and 3 point at the same time. That should extend the cylinders on all wheels. Then if you press and hold the top of the right button and move the same hydraulic you used to raise the planter, it should spread it open. So also with that button on the right. If it's sitting in the middle that's normal operation and then if you toggle it down I believe that turns the markers off if you wanted to plant without markers. My planter needed 3 hydraulics to operate. One for the vacuum, one for raising and lowering, and one for the markers. To go back to transport position just reverse the procedure. Some have the markers tied into the raising and lowering circuit and only need 2 outlets. Hopefully that's what you wanted to know, otherwise I just turned a novel for nothing 😁. Any other questions just ask

Are you planting beans with that planter or still using your 15 inch planter?
@AgWildNebraska6 жыл бұрын
Cole Dickinson I'll use the split row.

Everything working ok? That planter will cut your planting time in half.

Massey1105driver I think I need a couple new eye sensors in the seed tubes but it works good.
