I had to look back through the videos to find when I first started to watch. It was #8 and since then I have been hooked. I use to watch them on my tablet, but my dog didn't like it. Too small to see. So now we play all the videos on the 70 inch tv screen and she is happy. The problem now is my wife and I can't watch anything else. Abby loves to watch Mike do everything from operate the tractors and log splitter to cutting down the trees with the chainsaw. Her favorite videos are Melissa walking the trails with the dogs. We are in Caseyville, Illinois just a short distance across the river from St. Louis, Mo.

I have been enjoying your channel for about a year, and am a subscriber. We live on a smaller farm in Doylestown, Ohio and are involved in animals. My wife is a veterinarian and I am a professional animal trainer specializing in behavior problems. Currently I work with over 60 different species and coordinate with zoos, theme parks and other licensed facilities around the world. Your videos help me become more efficient at managing our farm and taking care of our ecosystem. Looking forward to more from you and the family!

Here since the beginning when I purchased a kubota 5200. I was looking for information from owners of kubotas and I found you. We recently moved (from 35 acres to 2) and now we have an rk 24. I only have 3 hours on it, but I look forward to putting more on it. In Wurtsboro ny and picked up the tractor at Clearfield PA. My two girls love watching Melissa, and I love learning from you Mike, even though you are not an expert. The biggest take away from you has been to take it easy. May your family continue to be blessed. Ok back to prepping dinner. Our three mile hike has me hungry. (My four year old did all three miles)

Have an 076 super Stihl. At 68 I don't use the heavy old brute much anymore, but it is ready to go when needed. An awesome old saw for big timber. Only been a subscriber for 3-4 months, but have went back and watched many of your past videos. Many of same interests here in Morris, Pa. LT35 Woodmizer mill, Bobcat 331 excavator with a homebuilt splitter attachment, TR320 Case track skid steer, and a Kubota 1120 RTV side by side. Cut lots of firewood for my outdoor furnace, but sell a little at a self serve roadside stand. Just finished making 12 gallon maple syrup in my backyard pan.

Mark from west central Missouri. In late September 2017 I purchased a 1972 Ford 3000 tractor to use for fire wording and general maintenance around my 40 acre property. Shortly thereafter I was searching the internet for ideas on building a three point carryall, which led me to OWTM #20. Wasn't long before I had watched all previous videos, and I've been with you ever since!

Hi Mike and Melissa, I started watching your channel last year. I enjoy each episode. I live in the township that surrounds LaGrange Ohio. There is farmland for about a mile behind us. We only have 1.3 acres but, it is enough now that I am in my 70's. Talking about the virus. Our oldest granddaughter (age 25) had ordered us to not go anywhere. Kids sure bossy these days. We love her anyway. Have a great day.

Hi Mike and Melissa. I have been watching since early 300's. I'm from Princess Anne, Md. I have a Stihl 011 which is over 35 years old and still going strong. My roots are from Altoona and still have relatives there. My cousins run Bennetti Tree Service in Altoona. LOVE your channel and have several similar interests. Very refreshing to hear and see like minded folks. I'm impressed that I actually figured out how to comment. I'm a bit challenged with social media! Have a day!!

Like many of your viewers I have been watching since right before you got a 1000 subs. I remember the when you were pushing for 3K. We have 5 acres in W Washington and have recently purchased 100+ acres in N Idaho in anticipation of my retirement. I have a John Deere 4044, multiple chain saws (all Stihl), and a Bobcat E-35 mini excavator. I have picked up countless tips and tricks from you and for the record I have purchased quite a bit of stuff on your recommendations in your videos. I know at 62 I should retire to a golf community somewhere and take it easy but I would go mad in a matter of days. I will spend the rest of my days managing our forests, maintaining our gravel road, cutting firewood and loving the outdoors. Because of you my wife and I are seriously exploring a Norwood portable saw mill. Keep up the great videos, like I’ve said before “I wish you guys were our neighbors”. PS. I had never really watched KZbin before your channel, I was searching for a video on how to sharpen chainsaws which opened up this whole KZbin experience.

Terry L. Castor from west central Indiana here. I've been watching for about a year and a half; shortly after the RK tractors showed up. I have watched all the back videos from day 1as well. I have a Stihl 028 Super Wood Boss that I bought new in 1989 when we lived in IL and burned wood for heat. I had to have the carburetor rebuilt about 2 years ago and I just recently bought a new 16" bar for it. This little saw has been nothing but bullet proof. It can sit in the case for years and still fire off on 3 or 4 pulls. When we lived in IL, it was in the woods every Saturday in the Fall and Winter for 8 years. Never a misfire. Probably the best purchase I have made in my lifetime. I'll pass it down to my son when the time comes. Hopefully he will realize the jewel that it is. Always a time to smile when I can watch Outdoors with the Morgans! Hi Hunter! Hang in there, buddy. Burger King has your back!

I bought an old 034 AV back in January that would have been a good parts saw but I had a local mechanic/magician work his magic with a new p/c, carb kit, ignition, and handle. Basically it’s an 036 pro minus the comp release and it puts a big ol grin on my face every time I fire it up. The saw mechanic told me to bring it back after a few cords of wood and he would get even more power out of it. I might even get a bark box for it. Those old saws can sure run like nobody’s business! I really like the fact that to save weight it has magnesium INSTEAD of plastics. Just gives the saw a better feel

I bought an 039 in 1999 to feed my outdoor stove 3/4 of a cord every week. The muffler got replaced, and it doesn't like to start once it's hot, but it is still going strong. It loves cold weather. I know it will start on the third pull when cold. We have 10 acres very close to Bennett Trailer Sales, and used to live in New Sewickley Township.

I can’t remember exactly when I found you. Maybe fall 2018. About a year earlier, I was looking for videos on felling timber, which was my introduction to the larger KZbin video library. I think I saw some of yours then but the sawmill was just a curiosity for me. Then I started working on my pole barn salvage and restoration projects on our farm in the western Ozarks I moved off of the timber videos. By fall 2018, I cycled back into felling trees and timber operations and started watching you all regularly. You’ve taught me a lot! Thanks for letting us see into your lives. It’s really helpful these days.

Hi Mike and Melissa-Been with you since your videos were in the single digits.I'm in north eastern CT. I was really never much into YT until I came across your channel...and it was off to the races from there! So many similarities: love of the outdoors and cutting firewood, similar philosophy on life and family, same tractor (L3901), same first name (Mike that is, not Melissa-LOL), and same age. In fact, you were the first channel I subscribed to. Really enjoying your wood shed build. Did one myself this past summer and came out pretty good. Built it as a 10 x 24, with rough cut pine siding. Learned a lot doing it myself and so happy not to be dealing with tarps and pallets. Best to you and the family.

Good afternoon Morgan Family. I subscribed about a year ago and have watched most of your videos, and have enjoyed them all. Living in the country has given me a more relaxed look at life....sometimes to relaxed...lol. It's great to see how others get with nature and enjoy the same things. I think the world would be a better place if we had more chainsaws and tractors. Keep up the great videos and look forward to your next one. Cheers from saskatchewan, Canada.

I purchased a 37 HP utility tractor in September 2015. Not long after, I began searching for You Tube videos related to using tractors for trail making, brush cutting, dirt moving, etc. Eventually that led me to The Morgans. At the start I watched occasionally. At some point I went back to "the beginning" and watched your vacation videos. For at least a couple of years now I watch almost daily. Pretty sure I've seen all of your videos. I really enjoy most of them, and realize how difficult it must be to produce one nearly every day as your channel has evolved. Your outdoor and carpentry skills are good, but your video skills are better. And even though I'm older than you, I've learned a few things your videos. Thank you. Eau Claire County, WI

I rebuilt the oiler pump and its never let me down just no safety stuff on it . The Stihl 034 got from a repair shop for free , the bimetal strip on the start choke was broke off . Hi Melissa, Mike and family, I am from Central West of New South Wales Australia. I've only been watching about a year now, and what I have watched I have enjoyed. Like you guys I have a son on the autism spectrum and totally understand the routine bit, if their regular routine is disrupted it totally throws them and they struggle. Mike it's good to see you give the old saw a run, as much as we like new gear there is nothing quite like running a saw that was your first one you saved hard for and that earned you quite a bit of money. Sadly I don't have the first one I ever bought as someone decided years ago that their need for it was greater than mine and helped themselves. But I still have its replacement and even after all these years (1994 husky 61) it's still my go to saw for most jobs. I have my newer bigger ones but the old 61 just keeps drawing me back and it keeps delivering the goods. I would honestly hate to calculate how many tonnes (ton) of firewood and timber that old girl has cut over the years. Anyway this is a long one so you have a great day and stay safe.

Started watching the Fall of 19. Splitting wood reminded me of the time spent with my Father in Law cutting and splitting wood. He built his own Log Splitter (Typical Farmer). Had a side lift on it also. Used the wood to head the boiler for hot water heat in the house. Yes the old Stihl's are great. A friend of mine has a tree service and I spent many a hour in the summer helping. Always enjoyed listening to the 36 idling with the clang of the dry clutch. Sounds like a Ducati idling. Keep the Videos coming. I'm a Sod Buster from Southern Minnesota.

The 044 red trigger from the early 90s is one of the best falling saws ever made. : ) Mine is still running great with a rebuild back in 2006. I've worked it as a timber faller in the Sierra Nevada of northern CA and the highlands of north central WA. I used it as an arborist at Lake Tahoe, CA in the 90s and milled many units of live edge planks with an Alaskan mill setup. If I could marry it, I would. : P

Gotta love those old Stihl Chainsaws. I still have have my 041AV that I bought new in 1977. It has cut massive amounts of wood, and probably 35 years ago, had straight gas run in it, which caused it to seize. All we did was to just let it cool down, put some oil into the cylinder, pulled the cord a few times, put mixed fuel back into the tank and it started right up and has been running great ever since. Other than new blades, bars, and rebuilding the carbs, I have done nothing else to it except last summer it developed an air lead, so I replaced all the gaskets and now it runs and cuts like a new saw. The only down side is that although it always starts after only 3 or 4 pulls, the compression that it still has makes those pulls quite difficult for these 72 year arms and shoulders, so all it does now is to sit on the shelf and get started and run a couple of times a year. Picking it up and feeling the weight, it's hard to believe that I used to fling this saw around like a toy. Aint youth wonderful? So glad that the new saws have compression releases and spring assists so old timers like me can still cut wood. Have a good day, and keep on cutting. Bill

I found KZbin in april of 2019. I had posted some videos of the Amish saw wills, milking various things I filmed but I had never gone to the university of KZbin. I started out watching all of Justin Rhodes post, the great American Farm Tour. From there somehow I found your channel. I may have come on board in July of last year. I have since gone back and watched all you have posted. For a long time I didn't know how to comment from my phone. I haul the Amush, most of my watching time is while I wait for them. I am in my van on my phone. KZbin had a video showing how to comment from your phone. I am from New Hampshire, I alway will be. I am however portable. I have lived in more states than the average American has visited. I now reside in Ohio. When all goes well I am on the road most of my waking hours. I aversge over 200 miles a day. I check my odometer the first of each month and decide by the number of days. I learned to farm and cut wood from Archie Morse, he was born in 1896. I moved onto his farm when I returned to this country in 1976. The deal I made with him was I would cut split and stack in his barn one full cord of fire wood for each month I lived in his brooder house. I started off with a bow saw. I cut the first summer's rent with a half teardrop and a big D bow saw. I first got a McCulloch saw. When I took it to be repaired I was given a Husky to use while they fixed my saw. I earned enough that day to buy the Husky. I worked in the woods for over 20 years, had a LT15 for a while. My job was mostly firewood for a very long time. I loved it.

Yes you really are fortunate that you have the property there to occupy the time. I'm sure a lot of people will be climbing the walls. I stay busy restoring cars from the 60's mostly. My shop is at home and I work alone. No shut down for me. I do enjoy getting out and cutting some firewood though.

I love my 028WB, but my 036PRO is even better. After 15 years and at lesst 100 cord of oak i changed the spark plug just because. It still runs great. Best saw i have ever owned. Been watching for about a year. I bought my 036 around '96 too. Remember we're all in this together, I'm pullin for ya, and if they dont find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy. from the great state of Texas

I think video #6 was my first view with the Morgans and been hooked ever since, you've come a long way since then and I try to watch every one, my kind of lifestyle also. I'm in SE lower Michigan, retired last year and working on a couple antique Oliver tractors for plow days, a parade or two and some tractor pulling. Managing the family farm keeps me occupied along with numerous hobbies so always something to do. Keep making them videos and I'll keep watching, always interesting to see what the Morgan family is up to. Stay safe and healthy!!!!

Hi Mike and Melissa My first episode is #7 Spitting and Stacking Firewood. I been use some of your tips & tricks at our Sommerhose where we had some winter storms that took a lot of trees to make firewood of. I'm 56 years and living in Stockholm Sweden. I mostly look thru Apple TV and miss a lot of comments and community of your great channel. Keep up the good work.

Hi Mike: I acquired a homlite zip chain saw when I was 16 which is 56 yrs, ago. The spec tag says the saw was built in 1956. It still runs and cuts. My boys call it the dinosaur but when we get into something big and nasty that’s one they grab. The chain feet per min is slow compared to today’s saws but its all torque and no bogging it down. It is heavy and it can be temperamental about starting its old and slow like me but it gets job done.

I think it is truly amazing how far and wide your members are from. it is not just national but is international. Having a bro-in-law with a similar condition to Hunters I often wonder just how much they mentally process and understand. I am amazed at my bro-in-laws ability to assimilate info but just cannot or will not communicate in a normal manner. I also have my first big saw but it is a Jonsered 2365 which I bought years ago and have had minimal problems with it and love to use it.

Hi Mike, my name is Russ Truman. I live in a little village called Twain Harte in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Approx. 90 miles south and east of Sacramento, Ca. I found your channel by accident. You had just started building your mini cabin. I got hooked on the progress. Then I got hooked on your wood cutting/splitting business and I have been hooked since. I watch for your videos everyday. I really enjoy watching Melissa and your family. Including Piper and Ruger. I would love to have all of your equipment you have but I am getting to old to do that kind of work anymore. Anyway I'm watching episode #727 on Mar 18, 2020. HAVE A DAY!

Totally agree! It was the 1st saw I purchased with my 1st income tax refund when I was 18 years old. I always wanted a saw and spent the extra to get a good one. I still have it I still use it as my primary saw. It’s been everywhere with me.

Hi Mike and Melissa. My wife and I bought a home on 5 wooded acres in Ohio last summer and moved in about August. I am SO happy to have found your channel. We heat mostly with a solid fuel furnace and the previous owners didn't leave us much firewood, so it has been catch-up all winter. I'm also learning tons from you about how to safely operate the Kubota tractor we picked up with the property. Good tools and their proper use make all the difference between work and fun. Please keep sharing. We love to get to know you and your family. ---- Jack

Hi Mike and Melissa from here in Cornwall, England . Found you about 13 months ago now and enjoy seeing the woodland and how you manage it , using the equipment etc . Strange times our generation find ourselves in along with our children's . Hopefully we and they will learn from this situation to prevent it happening again , and may give us all time to reflect on our lives and how we live them and what perhaps what we can do to improve it in the future and for those of our children and grandchildren . Keep up the great videos .

Hi, You're fully right. The 036 is a fantastic saw. Performance and durability wise. And so are the 026, 028 avseq, 038 avseq or magnum. If you take care these saws you'll inherit to your kids. :)) Regarding 036 and 038: Enough power to cut already bigger trees and light enough to cut some branches. Kind regards from Germany Marco

Hi, Mike. This is my first video with you! I came because of the saw you are using! I carried one for at least 12 hours a day, 7 days a week back in 1984. A 4 foot bar and at least a 120 trees a day for the Forest Service in Wyoming! Fantastic saw! Now, disabled and at 67 I doubt I could wield it for a half hour! I wish I still had it, though! I have 2 Grandsons, in the early 20s that could do a lot of work with one of those!

I have one of those, loaned it to a neighbor who seized it up. I told him straight up, it needs the chained to be sharpened before you use it and he never did so he worked it super hard and it plugged up the air filter because it made dust instead of chips and got to hot and seized it. I will eventually rebuild it but at the moment I have a stihl ms361 that does all I need it to

That's pretty good; Hit the saw with a skid loader and only replace a piece of plastic! Been watching for maybe 2 months. I watched a lot of the old videos, trying to catch up and answer questions. From Essex, MA (coastal) Glad to see the saw that you saved for, back out and being run! Easy to grab the shiny, but that old one, is something special. Want to see the woodshed filled!

Have to get back with you when I started watching your channel. From Columbus, GA. Columbus is a city in western Georgia Columbus is where Fort Benning is located. We actually live by the Chattahoochee River that divides Georgia and Alabama. Columbus is a great example of a true river city, once a major center for textile manufacturing. Founded in 1828, Columbus is also known for being the site of the last battle of the Civil War, where Columbus ranked second to Richmond in the manufacture of supplies for the Confederate army. Coca-Cola was actually discovered in Columbus. Funny how Coca Cola sort of left that out of their story. Columbus, GA was the third city to be home to a Coca-Cola Bottling Co. plant. Columbus Roberts Sr. started the plant in 1902. This plant is famous for being the birthplace of the original Coca-Cola formula. Today, the plant continues to succeed and live up to expectations. I just remember flipping through the channels and made a smart comment about your wife, just said put the Camera back on her. But I’m sorry about that. I really love y’all’s channel, love the different machinery, tractors etc. Have a lot of respect for all of you. Hunter is great too. Mike I believe you can operate anything. Learn a lot from each of you. Melissa not scared of any work. She goes for it. My wife does too. Sometimes I can’t watch each night or day , so I watch 4 or five in a roll. Great Videos.
