In this round, I suspect the rankings as follows: 1. Thailand - hands down the best answer in the top 5. 2. Nicaragua 3. Australia - Her answer was ok, she got into the top 3 almost by default because she did not tried to turn the question around like Colombia or got really nervous like Puerto Rico. 4. Colombia - she turned the question around so she could draw attention that she's a mother. 5. Puerto Rico - content was fine...but the delivery was what sunk her. She was visibly nervous and she incorporated the contents of a well known response delivered by a previous MU winner. I thought maybe overall impression still will carry her through...but I guess not.

English is not the first language in every countries in this world. Nicaragua girl can speak english for general conversation but she is not proficient in english to be able to answer the hard question in deep details so she definitely need to answer in her mother tongue language. The question round in MU does not test your english proficiency but they focus in the answer whatever the language they speak to see their attitude. You should understand because last year Thailand also has a representative who cannot speak english well and she would also need to use a translator if she was in top 5, right? Or even in 2016, why did Thailand use the translator to answer the question in Top 6 round then?

Hello miss universe organization. One of my relatives spent 40k in supporting Michelle Dee, Miss Universe Philippines. He's been crying up till this day and could'nt sleep properly, Knowing that she would've been the hope for many lives that are part of the autism spectrum including some of my relatives. We have been supporting mmd althrough out. Some of our family members are part of that spectrum. And michelle dee could've been the hope of not only my relatives but all around the globe who have autism. Millions are struggling with it. And michelle dee was the best choice for being a miss universe. We did not really know what lacked. The voices of the people who have autism must be heard!.. Our family is heartbroken for the people who have this condition. Michelle truly did a spectacular performance. And deserved a spot in top 5. Its so hard to accept. its a big loss for us. We don't know what will you do with the money now. But i cannot stand this organization anymore. We spend money for a fair competition. This is corruption..

For those condemning that the Philippines should be in the top 5, well, the top 5 was not rigged at all and the ig post or story was just a human mistake. Everyone makes mistakes so deal with it. Second of all, the gown Miss Philippines wore wasn't that phenomenal at all. Just because she is good in q&a doesn't mean she had the best top 5 evening gown. Had she wore something that was top 5 worthy of evening gown she would have been placed in top 5 regardless her other achievements in Miss Universe 2023 and most important of all she was voted into top 20 so she should be lucky to be in top 10 anyway so stop being so biased by condmening MIss Universe is a cooking show just because you are from the same country. I like her too just that the gown wasn't the right choice anyway and the colour was way too plain anyway.

Like for real the questions this year is so basic even a elementary student can answer it. The questions is not Miss universe material. This year is the worse for miss universe what an amazing cooking show. I am happy for Nicaragua but Miss universe organization please step the competition up. 2018 was amazing i love the flow of the show where you ask them first and proceed to cut them into top 10.

@MissUniverse the Q&A time pressure is unfair during translation as the candidate like Nicaragua can think and polish her answer compared to candidate without translator. Why not answer completely the question first and do the translation later? By that she as well undergo the time pressure like the other to test if she is really that smart.
