Love the footage of the mighty PAs pulling manifest. When you’re desperate you have to dredge up whatever you can find to pull your trains.

You missed the PAs on the Adirondack by only a few days! Turbos are brand new and they don't know what to do with 16, 17, 18, and 19. Great video!

amazing Brand new Turbos & ex New Haven Country cars behind E8 engines. My first journeys to North America took place in 1986, only the Turbos where sill in service at that time.

Still a few unpatched fallen flag locomotives. Did not take Conrail long to start adding their matk. Thanks for sharing!

What was it about Flexicoil trucks that made Conrail put them under their SD40-2s?
@PCCRNSENGR2 күн бұрын
Because the probe with the SDP40F HTC trucks Conrail wanted the older trucks.

Awesome pacing of the PA4s on freight! I’d love it more with some dubbed in Alco sounds.

Nice to see freight care with road names and no graffiti, and cabooses. Sad to see locomotives in their original livery with CR slapped on them. Amazing shots of the DH&H PAs. I never knew they saw freight service, same as the EL E8s.

I really enjoyed the video, I am not a fan of todays North American locomotives as they virtually all look the same shape, back in the old days there was more companies, more brands and more variety, thanks for posting Guy. Dangerous roll from loco 6094 at 6:24 mark too. What is the coloured chart/diagram 7:05 mark above caboose side number 22983?
