The film is outstanding and sure brings back my memories of railfanning during my younger days, but I'd love to have more information either in the description, with unobtrusive on-screen graphics or a bit of commentary. Also, your title doesn't mention the B&M, but I was thrilled to see it! Thank you for sharing.

My father lost his trip notes and I don't know enough about railroads t comment. If we ever find the notes I'll update the descriptions.

@@GuyWicksall Understood. I thought this was your footage. I and I'm sure many others would be willing to assist if you're ever interested in doing updated versions.

I vaguely remember seeing CV locomotives on the CN mainline behind my childhood home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Probably late 80s/Early 90s.

Also forgot to mention that my Dad's a retired locomotive engineer, and went past our house countless times.

Did fjg really run at those slow speeds or is video slowed down? Thank you
@GuyWicksall3 күн бұрын
These should be pretty close to original speeds.

Just made my day,,a purple GREMLIN! BTW, the day after Thanksgiving, 1979 I was hit broadside by a yellow GREMLIN.(they were out drinking, the cans were flying out after the accident) 2 years later I would be married at the church exactly where the GREMLIN hit me. Married for 6 yrs 49 days.(divorced) Do you think "someone" was trying to tell me something?
